Ashi Singh's mumbai local adventure: surprising choice of commute to save time!

Ashi Singh took the Mumbai local train ride, and her experience will leave you laughing on the floor. Ashi is popularly known for her groundbreaking work on 'Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai' and the successful seasons of 'Meet: Badlegi Duniya Ki Reet'. Recently, when the actress was supposed to travel for work to a far location, she opted to take an interesting local train to commute. The adventurous ride left the actress with unforgettable memories to cherish. 

We were curious to know if Ashi ever took public transport to which we were surprised to know that she prefers it a lot as it saves her time. "I use public transport a lot since it saves a lot of time and energy. It was different this time because I never travelled during traffic hours because of the major rush. I try to take public transport only during the off hours", the actress revealed. Ashi has a low tolerance for waiting in traffic and that made her pick this interesting choice of commute, "It annoys me to wait in the traffic and sit in the car for hours. This time I was going to some place and it was 2 hours away and it was marked red on the maps. I thought I had to wait in traffic for at least 3 hours so I decided to take the local". 

It was quite an experience because I had mixed feelings. I was excited, scared and nervous. My friend was worried, she said I wouldn't be able to make it. The train will be full, and the rush is unimaginable. To my surprise, it was pretty fun. I didn't even have to move, I was just pushed inside the train and pushed outside as well without any effort".

The local train is the heartbeat of Mumbai as thousands of people travel in these every day to work. For a popular actress like Ashi, it was a peculiar experience. "It was very different. It felt like a task because when I was in college, it was close to my place, so I never had to take public transport. This was the first time I travelled alone. It was quite an experience because I had mixed feelings. I was excited, scared and nervous. My friend was worried, she said I wouldn't be able to make it. The train will be full and the rush is unimaginable. To my surprise, it was pretty fun. I didn't even have to move, I was just pushed inside the train and pushed outside as well without any effort". 

It isn't easy to travel on a local train especially if you are not used to the daily experience of travelling on those. "There was a fight inside the train and people did not even wait for the train to stop. They just jump outside as soon as the station arrives and it was very amusing how I was pushed inside and outside the train without making any effort", the actress shared. It seems fair to say that Ashi had an amazing day out. We asked her what makes Mumbai complete for her and with a bright smile on her face she said, "it's the local train and Vada Pao that makes Mumbai complete for me"
