Arun Govil & Dipika Chikalia To Appear on Star Plus For the Ganeshotsav Special

Considering how times due to coronavirus continue to be stressed and not going to be better anytime soon, we certainly do not see the old normal getting back anytime soon. Even though TV shows have resumed and people are gradually adopting to shooting in newer conditions, there is one certainty amidst all this and that is any public gathering shall be avoided.

In a country like ours, the biggest examples and instances of public gathering have been the many festivals we celebrate. An upcoming one in that mix is Ganesh Chaturthi where every year we see lakhs and lakhs of people getting together to celebrate Lord Ganesha.

However, none of these matter as that won't be happening this year certainly and that is also how TV shows will be adapting with it. Star Plus channel will be hosting a Ganeshotsav Special and it has already been reported that the likes of Divyanka Tripathi, Surbhi Jyoti, Rithvik Dhanjani, Siddharth Nigam and Karan V Grover will be performing in the special.

Even Bollywood biggies like Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt, Shilpa Shetty and Vidyut Jammwal will perform at the event. The latest update now arrives as actors Arun Govil and Dipika Chikalia aka Fam and Sita from the cult classic, Ramayan will also be coming on the show.

The rerun of Ramayan has been a record-breaking rating grabber  in lockdown period and Govil and Chikalia's appearance will only elevate the special.
