Arjit Taneja indirectly CONFIRMS upcoming stint in Jhanak & bids adieu to KMTG: 'Onto next adventure'

Arjit Taneja, last seen in Zee TV's Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye, is all set to lead Star Plus' Jhanak after earlier denying the same. India Forums had exclusively reported about Arjit being a part of the show as the new male lead after he himself denied it online sometime ago.

Well, taking to his X handle today, Arjit, bid adieu to his last show Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye once again as he is all set to step into a 'new journey.' ''Good things come to an end, and Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye was one of the best. As an actor, you pour so much into a character that sometimes letting go feels impossible (doesn't happen always) . Virat, VSA, and this incredible crazy team will always hold a special place in my heart. I'm carrying a piece of them with me, forever cherished,'' writes Arjit.

He further opens up on stepping into a 'new character,' without revealing any details and says, ''And as I step into a new character, just reflecting on these unforgettable moments. The KMTMG hangover is real, but life's about moving forward. This cast & crew spoilt me with their love and talent, thank you (aur haan, expectations badhane ke liye not thank you). And now Onto the next adventure!''

While Arjit has not mentioned the name of the show, like India Forums had exclusively informed earlier, the actor may have been prepping to begin his journey as the new male lead of Jhanak.

Earlier denying reports of his entry in the show, Arjit had said, ''Guysss not doing any new show as of now. Don’t know where are all the articles coming from. Much Love.''

Well, our sources close to the production house had earlier revealed to us that the actor is very much a part of the show and that he may shoot for the promo soon too. ''The channel was keen on having Shakti Arora on board, however, the budget did not work out. Arjit has now been roped in to essay the new lead. They were both in contention,'' the source confirmed.
