A major fire broke out early Monday morning on the sets of Star Plus' hit television show Anupamaa, located in Goregaon's Film City, Mumbai. While the exact cause of the fire is still unknown, visuals from the scene suggest extensive damage to the set, which is engulfed in flames, with fire brigades and police personnel on site.
According to an update shared by IANS on Twitter, five fire brigade vehicles were rushed to the spot as soon as the blaze was reported. The video shared by the news agency shows thick smoke and flames engulfing large portions of the set, while firefighters actively attempt to control the situation. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties have been reported so far.
Sharing the video on Twitter, IANS wrote, "Mumbai: A fire broke out early morning at the Anupama serial set in Mumbai’s Goregaon Film City. Five fire brigade vehicles responded promptly, and no injuries have been reported. Firefighters are actively working to control the blaze."

Anupamaa, produced by Rajan Shahi and Deepa Shahi under Directors Kut Productions (DKP), and starring Rupali Ganguly, Shivam Khajuria, Adrija Roy, and others, is one of the highest-rated daily soaps on Hindi television. The show has a massive fan following, and news of the fire has left viewers shocked and concerned for the safety of the cast and crew.

However, according to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB), the fire originated in a tent structure on the set of Anupamaa.
