Anupamaa: Rahi apologises to Anupama with guilt but holds back from hugging her

In tonight's episode of Anupamaa, Rahi, lost in her own troubling thoughts, tightly grips her ghungroo without realising she is hurting her hand. Prem walks in and quickly notices her pain. He rushes to her side, asking her to let go of the ghungroo. As he tends to her, Rahi breaks down and hugs him.

Prem Urges Rahi to Forgive Anupama

While comforting her, Prem understands that Rahi is deeply troubled about Anupama. He gently bandages her hand and reminds her that though Khyati did something terribly wrong with Anupama, Rahi still stopped her from leaving the house.

He adds that if it had been Anupama instead of Khyati, Rahi would not have spared her, just like she had done in the past.

Rahi remembers the time she had ended her relationship with Anupama. Prem continues, saying this was not a small fight about winning or losing a competition — Anupama's eyesight, even her life, could have been at risk.

Yet, despite everything, Anupama never exposed Khyati, neither before the family nor during the contest. Prem tells Rahi that if Anupama had wanted, she could have made it a huge issue, but she chose silence instead.

Hearing this, Rahi realises the immense pain Anupama must have gone through when she was unable to see. She feels guilty, thinking what if something worse had happened to Anupama.

Rahi admits that though she understands Khyati's grief of losing Aryan, such an act can never be justified. She explains that she only stopped Khyati from leaving because Khyati has no one else besides the Kotharis.

Prem then points out that if Rahi could forgive Khyati so easily, she should also find the strength to forgive Anupama. He questions why she still holds on to anger against Anupama. Rahi, finally moved, confesses that she wants to meet her mother and see her. This brings a smile to Prem's face.

Rahi Struggles with Guilt

But soon she recalls her harsh behaviour with Anupama in the past. She feels torn, wondering how she will face Anupama now, and fears approaching her after everything she has done.

Though hesitant to face Anupama, Rahi is reassured by Prem, who reminds her that Anupama is generous enough to forgive. Gathering courage, Rahi decides to reach out and dials Anupama's number.

When Anupama answers, she immediately asks Rahi if everything is alright and why she called so late at night. Rahi remains silent, weighed down by the guilt of how she had once disrespected Anupama.

Prem gently suggests that Rahi should calm herself with a painkiller and some turmeric milk, but the silence on the other side of the call leaves Anupama disturbed and worried about her condition.

A Strange Presence in the Night

Later that night, Anupama senses an unusual presence around the house. Thinking it might be Gautam, she steps out to investigate. While searching, she notices that the milk has gone missing, leaving her even more suspicious.

Shahs’ Breakfast Discussion

By morning, the Shah family gathers at the breakfast table. Ansh shares his decision of getting Bharti's operation done at his friend's hospital. Preet supports his choice, saying that they should do whatever is best for Bharti's health.

Meanwhile, Leela inquires about Devika, to which Anupama replies that Devika rarely stays in one place for long. At the table, Kinjal yawns, prompting Hasmuk to ask why she looks so tired.

Kinjal reveals she couldn't sleep the whole night as she too felt an unusual presence inside the house. The family discusses the possibility of someone being around but not revealing themselves. At that very moment, Anupama is stunned to see Rahi and Prem standing before her.

Khyati Breaks Down Before Parag

On the other side, Khyati breaks down in front of Parag. She vents her anger towards Anupama, but Parag calmly reminds her that Anupama never pushed Aryan toward drugs. He warns Khyati that her anger is consuming her from within.

As Khyati cries over losing her young son, Parag reminds her that Anupama also lost a son at a young age, yet she continues to move forward with life instead of drowning in bitterness.

Rahi Reveals Khyati’s Truth

At the Shah house, Rahi folds her hands and seeks forgiveness from Anupama, leaving everyone surprised. Anupama, confused, asks Rahi and Prem if everything is alright and what matter they want to discuss.

Rahi then brings up the issue of the eye drops, which stuns Anupama. As the family begins questioning her, Rahi explains that she has come to apologise.

Before she can continue, Anupama interrupts, saying there is no need to say more. But Rahi insists, adding that since she had shown arrogance in front of everyone earlier, it is only right that she accepts her mistake publicly and asks for forgiveness in front of all.

The family members then demand to know what mistake she is talking about. The Shah family and the Dance Ranis are stunned to learn that Khyati was the one who had tampered with Anupama's eye drops. Preet points out that such an act could have cost Anupama her eyesight.

One by one, Ansh, Hasmuk, Prarthana, and Prem voice their disapproval and blame Khyati for her reckless actions. Preet even suggests that a police complaint should be filed against her. Rahi calmly tells them to proceed as they feel right.

Anupama Chooses Forgiveness

However, Anupama steps in and declares that she has already forgiven Khyati. Leela, surprised, asks why she would let go so easily. Anupama explains that Khyati is a grieving mother who has made a mistake, but that doesn't mean she will repeat it again.

Hearing this, Rahi expresses gratitude to Anupama for her compassion, though when Anupama tries to embrace her, Rahi pulls back, still not ready for closeness.
