Anupamaa: Devika hides truth behind haircut, Anupama stumbles upon shocking medical report

In tonight's episode of Anupamaa, Anupama is seen giving Devika a head massage, but Devika subtly resists, asking her to stop. Anupama scolds her and tells her to sit still, pointing out the poor condition of her hair. She reminds Devika that her hair used to be so long and questions why she suddenly decided to cut it short.

The conversation then takes a deeper turn as Devika recalls the events at the competition, sharing how everyone was taken aback. Anupama adds that even she was surprised, but admits confidently that she had already sensed Rahi would pick her as an opponent.

When Devika wonders how she was so certain, Anupama explains that Rahi's real motive lies in defeating her, winning over her gives Rahi the satisfaction she is desperately seeking.

Devika remarks that Anupama's children are good for nothing. Anupama, however, responds calmly, admitting that though her children, Pakhi, Rahi, and Paritosh, don't share the same love for her as their mother, she can never harbour hatred toward them.

Devika’s mysterious hint

Anupama reflects on her strained relationship with Rahi, revealing that she once tried to mend the bond but has now accepted that all she can do is pray for her daughter and stop forcing reconciliation.

Devika then poses an important question, whether Anupama plans to return to Mumbai or continue staying with the Shahs. Seeing Anupama lost in thought, Devika tells her not to overthink and hints that she has a surprise in store.

Anupama grows curious and presses her to reveal it, but Devika teases her instead, building suspense. Just as Anupama begins to feel anxious, Devika lightens the mood, saying she will reveal it only after the competition the next day.

Devika's advice for Anupama

Anupama initially feels tense when Devika mentions a surprise, but relaxes when Devika assures her it will be something that brings happiness. Devika then promises to reveal it the next day after the competition. As she gets up, she suddenly feels dizzy, which makes Anupama rush to her side in worry.

Though both are shaken for a moment, Devika quickly brushes it off, blaming the long and stressful day. Anupama hugs her out of concern, but Devika reassures her that she is fine.

Still uneasy, Anupama asks her to share what is really troubling her. Instead of answering directly, Devika makes her promise that no matter what happens, she must live for herself and stay strong. She then shows Anupama a diary, explaining that it contains her bucket list, and requests her to continue fulfilling those wishes if something ever happens to her.

This only makes Anupama more restless, convinced that Devika is hiding something important. She once again tries to get the truth out, but Devika avoids the question, saying she is tired and wants to rest. Later, while keeping the diary back in Devika’s bag, Anupama accidentally comes across a medical report that deepens her suspicion.

Before she can go through it properly, Devika interrupts, takes the bag from her, and insists everything is fine. As Devika leaves with the report, Anupama becomes certain her friend is concealing something serious. Disturbed and worried, she silently prays for Devika’s well-being.

Kotharis plot strategy; the Shahs cheer for Anupama

Meanwhile, the Kothari household discusses the competition. Gautam expresses his doubts to Vasundhara, suspecting that Rahi might turn against them or secretly side with Anupama. He warns that a loss would severely damage their family's reputation.

Vasundhara asserts that the contest is more than just an event, it represents their family honour. Determined, Gautam vows that he will not allow Anupama to emerge victorious.

Back at the Shah residence, excitement builds as the family rallies behind Anupama. Leela pushes her to defeat the Kotharis and avenge the past insults, and Anupama promises she will fight with full determination.

Manohar announces that he will host a party, while Ansh suggests they can perform Ganpati Visarjan afterwards, turning it into a double celebration. The family cheers together, boosting Anupama's morale.

Green room clash goes public

At the venue, Kunal introduces the much-awaited face-off between Rahi and Anupama's teams. While Anupama prepares herself, Gautam smirks, convinced that today will bring her downfall.

Adding more tension, Paritosh places a hefty bet in favour of Anupama's team. To stir the drama, the host plays a secretly recorded video of the heated argument between Anupama and Rahi in the green room.

Shocked, Manohar points out that it is illegal to film such incidents without consent, but Kunal justifies it, saying that if participants create drama, then showing it to the audience only adds to the entertainment. Gautam watches on with satisfaction, hinting that he still has surprises up his sleeve.

Judges unveil tough prop round

As the round begins, the judges reveal the rules, only two participants will compete, using a prop that must remain steady throughout. One performer will be chosen by the team leader, while the opposing team gets to select the second.

Anupama immediately names Devika, while Rahi strategises to select the weakest member from Anupama's side, aiming to ensure their failure.
