Amitabh Bachchan's tears of appreciation, pens touching note for Abhishek Bachchan

"Ghoomer," featuring actors Abhishek Bachchan and Saiyami Kher released in theatres today. This much-anticipated sports drama, written and directed by R Balki, tells the inspiring story of a cricketer who can't walk due to an injury but still fights against all challenges to achieve her dream of playing for India's women's cricket team. 

Amitabh Bachchan, a veteran actor and also Abhishek Bachchan's father, shared his feelings about the movie on Twitter. He praised Abhishek for his outstanding performances in various complex film roles. 

Amitabh Bachchan took to his Twitter account to pen a heartfelt note for Abhishek Bachchan. Big B wrote this note as Abhishek's father and as a member of the film fraternity. "Abhishek I can say this as a Father, yes, but also as a member of the fraternity we both belong to .. At this young age and in the time period, you have performed in the most complex characters in film after film .. all different convincing and all successful ..," tweeted Big B.

In response, Abhishek Bachchan showered love on his father and replied, "Love you Pa." 

Meanwhile, after watching it twice, Amitabh Bachchan also recently reviewed Ghoomer and penned his feelings about the film. He wrote that the film left him in tears. 

For the unversed, Ghoomer, starring Abhishek Bachchan and Saiyami Kher, is inspired by Karoly Takacs, the late Hungarian right-hand shooter who won two Olympic gold medals with his left hand after his other hand was seriously injured. Ghoomer also stars Shabana Azmi, Angad Bedi and Shivendra Singh Dungarpur. The film also features Amitabh Bachchan in a guest role.
