Alia Bhatt says Raha has ‘busier calendar’ than her parents while juggling Love & War shoot

Alia Bhatt has often spoken about balancing her career with motherhood, but her latest reflections shed light on how she and Ranbir Kapoor are navigating parenthood while co-starring in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War.

In a recent interview with Grazia, Alia explained that working with her husband has been a positive experience. “It sounds cheesy, but there are no cons to this only pros,” she said. The only difficulty, she admitted, comes from adjusting to their daughter Raha’s schedule.

The couple have been shooting the film mostly at night, which allows them to spend the day with Raha. “There are days he’s shooting, days I am. We’re not always on set together,” Alia said. On some occasions, Raha has even accompanied them to the shoot, and Alia shared that her daughter enjoys being around the film environment.

The actor also pointed out that parenting is never a solo task. “She’s got a very busy life herself with classes, playdates, grandparents, and activities. It does take a village, in a sense, and I feel very grateful for all my loved ones and the privilege that I have with this support system,” she said.

Alongside family life, Alia continues to focus on major projects. She will soon headline *Alpha*, directed by Shiv Rawail. The film is set in YRF’s Spy Universe and features Alia as a commanding officer of an all-women combat unit. The role promises a fierce and action-driven side of her career, adding a new dimension to her filmography.

Meanwhile, her reunion with Ranbir Kapoor and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali in *Love and War* is already drawing attention. The period romance, which also stars Vicky Kaushal, is one of the most anticipated films of 2025. For Alia and Ranbir, it marks their second on-screen collaboration after *Brahmastra*.
