Akshaye Khanna joins Ranveer Singh in Aditya Dhar's spy thriller: Reports

On March 4, 2024, it was first reported that Ranveer Singh and director Aditya Dhar are collaborating on a high-stakes action thriller centered around Indian Intelligence Agencies. In this ambitious project, Ranveer will portray an Indian Intelligence Officer. The latest update is that the duo is set to start filming their maiden collaboration from August 2024.

“The first schedule of this untitled action thriller begins in August at an international location, followed by scenes in India. It’s inspired by true events and features Ranveer as one of the most pivotal agents in the history of R&AW. Ranveer Singh, one of the finest actors of today, is thrilled to step into this world of action and intrigue,” shared a source close to the project. The film is expected to release in 2025.

Joining Ranveer in this action-packed narrative is a strong ensemble cast. Akshaye Khanna has been signed on to play a key role. If reports are to be belived, Akshaye Khanna and Ranveer Singh share a compelling dynamic in this film, and Aditya Dhar is eager to showcase their chemistry. Akshaye was impressed with the script and has enthusiastically joined the project.

The film also boasts performances by Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal in significant roles. According to reports,Sanjay Dutt will be seen playing the antagonist, while the roles of R Madhavan and Arjun Rampal are being kept under wraps. However, each character has been meticulously cast and plays a crucial part in this mission-based action thriller.

This yet-to-be-titled film marks Ranveer’s next big venture following the success of "Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani." He also has Farhan Akhtar’s "Don 3" and the highly anticipated "Shaktimaan" lined up for 2025.
