Baaghi 3 director Ahmed Khan’s recent comments have created quite a stir. After his bickering with Taapsee Pannu over his remarks against her film Thappad, his comment on Kangana Ranaut’s 2019 film Manikarnika has gone viral.
In an interview with Navbharat Times, Ahmed Khan stated that Kangana had tried to achieve success with ‘Manikarnika’ and made it on a very large scale but money was wasted and the makers faced a lot of losses.
His comments have not gone down well with Kangana’s sister Rangoli Chandel, who took to Twitter to hit back at the filmmaker. Replying to his comments, Rangoli stated that ‘Manikarnika’ earned a weekend collection of Rs 45 crore while Ahmed’s recent directorial ‘Baaghi 3’ earned Rs 49 crore, which is a close difference.
"Ha ha Arrey Khan Bhai saab, 155 crore ki film ko flop kehte ho, aapki film Baaghi3 ne 49 ka weekend kiya aur Manikarnika ne 45 ka, jayada peeche nahin hai aapse, Manikarnika ka 102 India karke dekhao phir baat karo, abhi toh aapke seetare gardish mein hain” Rangoli wrote in a tweet.

"Kangana just called she told me Ahmad Khan called her and apologised and said he didn’t anything everything was made up..... bolo...so clearly chillars ki phat bhi jati hai easily...himmat nahin hai to stand by what you say aab aison ko kya kahein jo aake rone lage" came her tweet.
Besides, Khan had also stated that Kangana starrer ‘Dhaakad’ was announced with great spirit, but was later shelved due to Manikanika’s poor business. Rangoli rubbished this statement as she shared the response by Dhaakad director and producer, who clarified that the film is under production.
