Ahan Shetty recalls an overwhelming phone call with Rakesh Roshan after his debut film Tadap's release

Bollywood actor Ahan Shetty, son of Suniel Shetty has drawn attention to himself with his big debut with Sajid Nadiadwala's ‘Tadap’. 

The actor was seen sharing screen space with Tara Sutaria. The movie did extremely well at the box office and was among the few theatrical successes of 2021.

Also, Ahan enjoyed heaps of praises from the film fraternity for his performance. When asked about the first overwhelming call he received, he shared, 

“In general I was completely overwhelmed, I didn’t expect so much love and appreciation for my first film. I remember the day the trailer released, Rakesh Roshan sir was the first person to call and congratulate me, he said I had a bright future ahead and that he was looking forward to seeing my film. That phone call was so special coming from someone who Is a legend in our industry”.

Earlier, during the exclusive screening of ‘Tadap’, Suniel was asked about how he feels as a parent, as well as an actor, for Ahan’s debut film and Suniel confessed that he’s quite anxious. 

“I am praying that my son gets accepted in showbiz. So far, the trailers and the songs are doing extremely well. People have been showering us with so much love and support.But yeah, as a parent, I am anxious too,” he admits, adding, “I am looking forward to this budding new actor. I’ve seen the film, I am happy with it, but yeah Ahan’s happiness matters the most to me”.

On the work front, the buzz is that Ahan Shetty has come on board Aashiqui 3.
