Pandya Store, a beloved stop for fans of Hindi soap operas, continues to captivate viewers with its storylines and intriguing characters. Following a generational leap, the narrative now centres around Suman (Krutika Desai), who, along with her grandchildren Chiku (Sahil Uppal), Shesh, Mittu and Natasha (Priyanshi Yadav), take the storyline forward.
The current plot revolves around the Makwana ladies' participation in a pageant aimed at restoring Amrish's reputation, where, unexpectedly, along with the Makwana ladies, Dhawal and Isha find themselves at the same venue.
Previously, Sahill Uppal, essaying the role of Chiku, had announced his decision to depart from the series. If reports are to be believed, his co-actress Surabhi Das, portraying the character of Isha, has decided to part ways with the show.
During an exclusive conversation with one of the leading portals, Surabhi Das disclosed her dissatisfaction with the amount of screen time she received in the Pandya Store. Despite raising concerns with the producers and patiently waiting, she ultimately chose to exit the show.
Upon joining the show initially, Surabhi was assured that Pandya Store would provide equal prominence to all cast members, positioning her as a parallel lead. However, this promise did not align with reality, as she revealed her presence was minimal in some instances, and sometimes, she wasn't featured at all. Faced with this situation, Surabhi made the decision to depart from the project, as she prefers roles where her contribution is significant.

However, despite the passage of time, no substantial changes occurred, leading to her eventual departure in February. Given her prior experience as the lead in Nima Denzongpa, she was unwilling to accept a diminished role.
Surabhi acknowledged the producers' efforts to retain her, which included proposing to transform Isha's character into a more complex, grey persona. However, she felt this adjustment would be forced and didn't align with the character's purpose. Therefore, she opted to conclude her journey on a positive note. Nonetheless, she expressed gratitude for the producers' attempts to address her concerns.
For the unversed, in the current plot, Isha feels jealous of the Makwana ladies because they are participating in a pageant. This is a stark contrast to her past, where she was asked to leave the house when she wanted to pursue her dreams.
