After Ki and Ka, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor to work once again?

R. Balki's 'Ki & Ka' broke the unconventional norm of an elder actress romancing or working opposite a younger actor. This content-driven film starred Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor in the lead roles which had a decent success at the box office and the audience admired their easy chemistry and also waited for them to get back on-screen together.

If recent reports are to go by then Kareena and Arjun have signed Anurag Basu's next which will be a sequel to his 2007 film Life In A... Metro. A source informed DNA, "Kareena Kapoor Khan will reportedly feature in one of the stories and Arjun Kapoor will also be a part of one of the other plots. Their tracks are not connected is what we hear".

The report further adds that the filmmaker has almost finished scripting the sequel and is most likely to produce it himself.

Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor is quite on a roll after her pregnancy and a 2-year break. The actress was last seen in Veere Di Wedding and now within a year has signed two new films - 'Good News' opposite Akshay Kumar and 'Takht' which has an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.
