After Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Hitesh Bharadwaj approached to lead Sony TV's next

Hitesh Bharadwaj, who has been a part of quite some popular shows on Indian television, rose to fame even further post his recent stint in Star Plus' Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. The actor, who replaced Shakti Arora to essay the character of Rajat Thakkar in the show, called it quits after the show recently headed for a generation leap.

While fans of Hitesh have been missing him a little too much onscreens, India Forums has learnt of some exclusive scoop on his upcoming venture. A little birdie tells us that the actor has been approached for an upcoming show on Sony TV. This show will be produced by SVF productions for the channel. ''The makers of the show are very keen on having Hitesh on board and have approached him for the same too, lets see where it goes,'' says our well placed source.

For the uninformed, the production house is a well known name in the Bengali television space and has produced some popular shows like Sindoorkhela, Maa, Bojhena Shey Bojhena, Behula and more. However, with their upcoming show, they are now all set to venture in the world of hindi television space too. Before this, Magic Moments Motion Pictures, another production house, popular for their shows in Bengal, ventured in the hindi entertainment industry with their show Jhanak starring Hiba Nawab and Krushal Ahuja and later went ahead to produce Durga starring Pranali Rathod and Aashay Mishra. However, the latter tanked off in just a few months.

While we await official confirmation on Hitesh being approached for the show, we tried reaching out to the actor for comments, however, he remained unavailable.
