Adah Sharma on being a part of 'Sunflower S2': "I love my character, she is unpredictable"

Adah Sharma had a remarkable 2023, with her film "The Kerala Story" making waves at the box office. Unfazed by success, the actor is now gearing up for another exciting venture. Now, Adah has officially joined the ensemble cast of the comedy thriller "Sunflower" for its second season, expressing her enthusiasm for the new opportunity.

Reflecting on her involvement in the series, Adah Sharma shared her excitement, stating, "Stepping into this beloved universe is both an honor and a challenge. I am eagerly looking forward to showcasing the uniqueness of my character, who is quirky and mysterious. When questioned about her motivation for choosing this project, she explained, "Having explored drama in 'The Kerala Story' and action in the 'Commando' franchise, I felt it was time to try my hand at comedy. The show allows me to speak in Hindi, Tamil, Marathi, and English, ensuring a delightful experience for the viewers."

Originally released in 2021, "Sunflower" is a black comedy series directed by Vikas Bahl. The show features Sunil Grover in the lead role, supported by actors like Ranvir Shorey, Girish Kulkarni, Mukul Chadda, Shonali Nagrani, Sonal Jha, and Ashish Vidyarthi. The narrative revolves around a murder mystery in the middle-class housing society named Sunflower in Mumbai.
