Abhishek Kapur, Nalini Negi and newbie Ashi Doshi to feature on Gumraah!

Actor Abhishek Kapur (last seen on &TV's Tujhse Naraaz Nahi Zindagi), Nalini Negi (last seen on Life Ok's Laut Aao Trisha) and a newbie Ashi Doshi will soon be seen on an upcoming episodic of Channel V's Gumraah.

Our source informs us, "Abhishek has been roped in to essay the character of Sameer while Nalini will be seen as Aisha. Sameer and Aisha are TV's popular award winning couple and are in love with each other. Ashi, who will be seen essaying the character of Aisha's sister on the show will come to Mumbai as she is a big fan of him. this is where the twist in tale follows."

When we contacted Abhishek, he confirmed the news saying, "I am playing the character of Sameer, who is a TV celebrity and love interest of Aisha (Nalini Negi). It's an interesting story and  we have really worked hard for this. I really hope that the viewers will like it. It's always fun to play a character like these and to work with such great cast and crew."

Nalini Negi says, "I play a TV celebrity Aisha, who is a positive and a lively person. Well I am quite happy to play this character. I am also looking forward to see the feedback of my fans and viewers on this episodic. It was real fun working with the team."

Talking about her role on the episodic, Ashi told us, "Well, this is my very first time I'm doing an episodic. This is something new to me and is very exciting. Though I'm playing a negative and someone who is obsessed kind of character, still it seems fun. Now let's see how it goes. I hope people will like it."
