Abhishek Bajaj emphasizes his current focus on films and web shows over television

Abhishek Bajaj, known for his role in "Student of the Year 2," recently visited Lucknow for a web project and expressed his immediate fondness for the city. Enthusiastic about exploration, he took advantage of his free time to discover different parts of Lucknow. Admiring the unique architecture, he also praised the warm welcome from Lucknowites.

Recounting his experiences, including visiting the renowned Chatori Gali for street food, Abhishek Bajaj shared with one of the leading portals that exploring different places is his passion. Lucknow, with its unique architecture, made a lasting impression on him. Alongside relishing the delectable local cuisine, he found joy interacting with the welcoming locals. Despite missing out on the renowned non-vegetarian eateries, he maximized his hotel experience by sampling various dishes. As a dedicated food enthusiast, Abhishek doesn't confine himself to healthy choices. Instead, he indulges in a diverse culinary experience, compensating with a rigorous workout routine. 

In discussing his ongoing project, Abhishek mentioned that he is currently in Lucknow for a web show centered around college life. Portraying the character of Chaku Pandey, a Lucknowite who embodies both good and bad traits in the show, he expressed eagerness for a role representing a true UP resident. He acknowledged the dialect's complexity in this region, emphasizing the challenge of authentically portraying it on screen. He noted that, in Lucknow, people refrain from using the informal 'tu tadak.'

Abhishek expressed his career aspirations and emphasized his current focus on films and web shows over television. He highlighted the differences in recognition between the mediums, noting that good film performances receive acknowledgement regardless of box office success. He emphasized the need for films to evolve as actors and mentioned the pay parity issue in the female-oriented TV industry.

Starting on TV with "Parvarrish Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi," his entry into films with a significant role in SOTY2 pushed his career to take a positive turn.
