Aarya Babbar Reveals Raj Babbar Was NOT Invited To Prateik Babbar’s Wedding Says, "Someone Has Overpowered....

Prateik Babbar is all set to marry actor Priya Banerjee on Friday, but the joyous occasion has been clouded by family tensions. His half-brother, Aarya Babbar, has revealed that their father, veteran actor Raj Babbar, has not been invited to the wedding.

In a recent interview with ETimes, Aarya expressed his disappointment and confusion over the situation. He said he always believed he and Prateik shared a strong bond, but something seems to have changed. Instead of blaming Prateik directly, he suggested that someone might be influencing his brother’s decisions, pushing him away from the Babbar family.

I presume someone has overpowered his brain too much. He is not wanting to connect with anyone from this side of the family. He has decided not to call anyone.

While he tried to give Prateik the benefit of the doubt, Aarya was shocked that their father was excluded. He stated, “Life is no less than a film; someone in the house is influencing him. I don’t want to think it is Prateik, and I don’t think he is like that.”

Prateik Babbar is the son of late actress Smita Patil and Raj Babbar. Smita and Raj met on the sets of their 1982 film Bheegi Palkein. Raj left his first wife, Nadira Babbar, to be with Smita. However, Smita tragically passed away due to childbirth complications in 1986, shortly after Prateik’s birth. Raj later reunited with Nadira, with whom he has two children, Aarya and Juhi Babbar.

This will be Prateik’s second marriage. He was previously married to Sanya Sagar, but they divorced in January 2023. While his wedding with Priya Banerjee should be a joyful event, the ongoing family tensions have added an unexpected layer of drama to the celebrations.
