A look into Robert De Niro's expanding family: actor welcomes seventh child at 79

Robert De Niro, the celebrated American actor, recently became a father for the seventh time. The 79-year-old actor welcomed a child with his girlfriend, Tiffany Chen, whose name and gender have not been revealed to the public. This marks the first child for De Niro and Chen.

De Niro has six other children from previous relationships. He shares two children, Drena and Raphael, with his first wife, Diahnne Abbott. Drena is an actress, DJ, and model, and has acted in several movies and TV shows. Raphael, on the other hand, works as a real estate broker and is married to stylist Hannah Carnes.

De Niro also has twin sons, Aaron and Julian, with his former girlfriend, Toukie Smith. Aaron has mostly stayed out of the spotlight, while Julian has acted in movies and TV shows, including the 2016 film "In Dubious Battle" and the TV series "First Lady."

Additionally, De Niro has two children with his second wife, Grace Hightower. Elliot, their son, has autism and is known for his achievements as a tennis player in the Special Olympics. Their daughter, Helen, was born via surrogate and has been kept away from the public eye by her parents.

De Niro and Hightower were married for more than two decades before separating in 2018. In a statement, De Niro said, "We are entering a period of transition in our relationship, which is a difficult but constructive process. I honor Grace as a wonderful mother and ask for privacy … as we proceed to develop our roles as partners in parenting."

Throughout his career, De Niro has starred in some of the most iconic movies in Hollywood history, including "The Godfather: Part II," "Raging Bull," and "Goodfellas." He has won two Academy Awards and has been nominated for numerous others.
