Green tea is a type of herbal tea that has been around for centuries. It is made from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant, which are then dried and steamed. Making green tea starts by picking fresh leaves from the Camellia sinensis plant. These are then chopped up and steamed in hot water for about 10 minutes to stop them from oxidizing and turning brown. The leaves are then dried in a controlled environment to preserve their flavour, colour and nutrients.

Green tea contains a compound known as Polyphenols. Some research shows that polyphenols can assist with Blood Pressure Levels and hold on to your veins healthy and adaptable, thus promoting adequate circulation.

The consumption level of green tea has been increasing over the last few decades with more people believing it to have health benefits than ever before.
