Ramayan (As Shown on Doordarshan)

I saw the following thread and I thought I might ask

We have had the horribly edited, re-shot terrible version on Moser Baer.

However, I recently came across this. It says as seen on Doordarshan. Has anyone brought these, is it true. Is the original version finally out there.
