Anuj was in Mumbai for max one or two months and after coming back he told Anupama that he was wrong. He said sorry to her and was ready to deal with maaya. He knew that he was wrong and said sorry but did Anupama ever said sorry for not telling him the truth of choti’s reason for going with Maaya or not giving him time after that.
Anuj didn’t knew about her whereabouts as it was shown in the show. Anupama didn’t punish herself for anuj or adhya but it was vanraj who banished her from shah’s life. She was not allowed to go shah house or her bio kids by Vanraj. It was not her own wish. Her bio kids didn’t tried to find her for once.
No one was in Pakhi’s side because of Anupama’s double standards in Pakhi adhik marriage. When Pakhi was the abuser she was bimar and in need of treatment but when tables turned Adhik had to go jail. We can see Anupama’s double standard every time.
In Samar death track no one except her to not morne for Samar but for once she can tell anuj that he is not at fault for Samar death. She was looking him like he murderd Samar. She got normal with him after her bio kids betrayed her and Vanraj gone mad. That time anuj just needed few lines of trust from her and she felled to that. She was behaving normally with everyone except Anuj.
So one or two months ke liye kisi aur auraat ke saath rehna is excusable for beti ka pyaar but upmaa just visiting her ex's household (where HIS current wife lived) to meet her children, children in-laws and grandchildren is ghor emoshunal atyachar on Anooj, the billionaire. Samar took a bullet for him and had a pregnant wife at home. Samar's biological parents got bullied by his murderer. Samar's stepmom was kidnapped while pregnant. As a bigshot billionaire, Anuj could not even flex his money to safeguard his wife from her son's murderers. Anuj is not the victim there lol.
Dude could justifiably verbally abuse her and abandon her for trying to celebrate a festival when their foster child was taken away lawfully by her mom but god forbid if Upmaa needed space from that manchild after her son died on the verge of becoming a father himself. /s
Pakhi was groomed by Adhik. She was straight out of highschool and a college fresher. That is canon. She shouldn't have been married in the first place. Adhik was a jobless older guy who admitted tp wooing a barely legal Pakhi to get a hold on Anuj and Upmaa's money. Then he couldn't deal with her vanity and immaturity and selfishness?
Just because she is a bad person doesn't absolve Adhik from his creepy behaviour. Similarly, if she were "abusing Adhik", that doesn't make it okay for Adhik to hit her either. Anupamaa's concern for her daughter's safety cannot be invalidated for hypocrisy lol. (The hypocrisy being that Upmaa herself hit Dimpy). Especially when Anuj's shittiness is justified as his pyaar for beti ki pyaar na hua duniya ka athva ajooba ho gaya.
And even if we were to invalidate Upmaa's concern for Pakhi, it doesn't change the fact that Adhik is an abuser himself and is not in jail because Pakhi chose to save his ass. That the makers give him utterly misogynistic lines about girls filing false cases is gross.
