I actually wish the actor playing Kabir played Suraj instead. I think he would make a good negative lead. He has those psycho type looks.

Phir to story predictable hai na. She will marry Kabir and only her maa wali saas will be by her side. Title will also make sense. Maybe saas will disown Suraj and adopt Kabir. Or what if Kabir also turns out to be her son?
I said earlier too, Kabir seems to have more author backed role. Himanshu has worked with Mahesh Pandey before. But I won't be much interested in this show the. Because whatever character traits Suraj has, it is his Mom's story. So, I am biased towards Suraj. I haven't watched past few episodes. So, I will watch them and see.
And how is it that the ML was totally absent in launch promos. These people did not think this through.

Who was absent?
Kabir was not there in the launch promos. We did not know a character like Kabir existed before the episodes.
