Survi is a quiet, shy yet mature 9-year-old girl who lives with her father Shrikant in a chawl in Mumbai. She portrays a tough exterior but is very vulnerable from within as she fears she will lose her father too someday. Survi''s mother had passed away in an accident when she was a child and she then had to take care of herself, her father, the house and her studies whilst growing up into a young woman. She is looking for an anchor in her life to build a family that she can call her own someday.
