This story is based on the supernatural thriller by the veteran Tamil writer Indra Soundraraajan, Kottai Purathu Veedu(translated as The Palace of Kottaipuram) which was also made into a successful daily soap under the same name in 1990.
Kaal Bhairav Rahasya stars Gautam Rode portraying the role of Veervardhan Singh who later becomes the king of Kanakgarh and Additi Gupta as Archana Singh who is the last descendent of Laali. The season two of the series revolves around the temple and the myth surrounded by the temple along with the family and the people surrounded around the Haveli/ Palace.
Kaal Bhairav Rahasya season 2 aired its last episode on Star Bharat on 9th April 2019.
