Actress Radhika Vidyasagar who essayed the role of Karthik's (Ankush Arora) mother has been replaced in the show. And getting in to play the same character now, will be known actress Madhavi Gogate who was last seen in Begusaraai.
As per sources, "The story line post the leap demanded an effective actor playing the role. Hence the replacement was considered."
When contacted, Madhavi confirmed the news to Tellychakkar.com saying, "Yes, I will soon be entering Yeh Vaada Raha. I will henceforth play the role of Lata, Karthik's mother. I have always done the positive mother roles, and this will also be something similar."
