Disha Parmar (born November 11, 1994)is an Indian actress and model. She's best known for her lead role as Pankhuri in Star Plus's television series Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara.

Early life Edit

Parmar completed her schooling from Sadhu Vaswani International School for Girls, Delhi. During her higher secondary education, she used to participate in dance competitions, plays and fashion shows.

Career Edit

For a year, she worked in a Delhi-based company 'Elite Model Management India Pvt. Ltd' and organised the auditions for Rajshri Productions. She enrolled for the auditions and was selected for the lead role of Pankhuri in Pyaar Ka Dard Hai. She was 17 when she was selected for the role.

Parmar appeared in several print and commercial ads in Delhi.[4] She left her studies in midway as she was named as the lead for the show Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara as Pankhuri.[5] She has received praise for her pairing with co-star Nakuul Mehta [6][7] She continued with working in the commercials along with the serial.

Appreciation Thread: Appreciation threads are to be used to praise and appreciate particular favourite actor/actress/celebrity. All discussions related to actor's/actress performance, looks, style and personality can be confined to ATs. Please don't use the AT's as a forum to bash/mock/discuss other celebrities/members/characters, discuss what is happening on the forum or elsewhere on IF or other social networking sites, basically keep it related to what the AT is about.

a. Chatting: We do allow minimum chatting in ATs, provided it is related to this AT alone. Additionally Do not spam with just emotions/numbers to increase post count/pages. Do not quote long quotes.You can quote three posts maximum and they should be small.
ATs are open for everyone, however, do not invade the AT with the purpose to rile up the fans or instigate them. Everyone has their right to voice out their opinions and should NOT be judged/generalized based on their likes/dislikes. If any of your fellow members/friends fails to follow the rules, kindly ask them to edit out or tell them its wrong rather than joining them and aggravate the issues further and equally responsible for carrying forward an unfavourable situation. Hence be responsible and take responsibility because that way you may prevent action taken against your AT thread.

ATs/discussions threads can NOT be used to target other members and NO pinpointing activity/mock or taking digs here toward other fan groups. Any derogatory references or name callings against actors /characters/members/Development team members are strictly PROHIBITED here.

b. Report: If you see anyone breaching the rules in any of the threads in the main forum, you will not come here and rant it out about it and snowball the issue further! Instead make use of the "REPORT" button and report the thread by stating the reason clearly. As soon as the Development Team comes online they would take the necessary action.

We can assure you guys that we only takes action where it's legit reason. However, here is a little catch for the stalkers who just want to report in order to get the AT closed down - If you report any post/comments that has no legit reason, you will be reliable for action against you for stalking.

If the DT sees more than 3 people breaking the AT rules constantly for a week, the effects of violations will kick start, which go as follows:

First Violation - Warning Note
Second - Another Warning Note
Third - Another Warning Note
Fourth - Close the AT for 24 hrs (1 Day)
Fifth - Close AT for 72 hrs (3 Days)
Sixth - Close AT for 1 week (7 Days)
Seventh - Get rid of AT completely from the forum/Shift it to Celebrity Fan Club Forum

Why aren't you watching Nakuul's show by the way? He is awesome as SSO.

I have to figure out a way to watch both these shows at 10, because I heart both Nakuul and Disha. Nice co-incidence that their shows are airing at 10 pm IST.

Disha has such a nice screen presence as Jhanvi⭐️ I am glad she got this show, it is awesome to have her back!😳

Ahhhgh! Don't ask! It's a long story. Ishqbaaz started when my exams were there and I was already watching Ek Duje Ke Vaaste then. Since EDKV was ending so I thought to not miss any of its episodes, and I tried watching Ishqbaaz in between. I couldn't keep the flow with story and then later on I found it very illogical. That bride swap was most illogical to be honest.😳 I was so excited for Nakuul's return and I guess even posted in Ishqbaaz forum. And now when I watch it, I don't understand what's going on and I don't have time to re watch it's episodes and I feel bad about it.

I think Zee tv intentionally posted Disha's show @ 10 pm slot to give competition to Nakuul's show. Also I think NaSha think that 10pm is their lucky slot?!😆

Yes, Disha's screen presence is commendable. I'm still figuring out why she chose to be the other woman here and if she gets married to the hero than she will be playing a role of a mother which I think is way too early for her.😆
