There was one painful scene where Varun tried to have a dance with Sanju, and she derided him so much you'd feel she's either got a problem with him, or she's hiding a dark secret- someone so hateful may definitely have a secret to keep under wraps. She even went on to say that 'everyone hates him'- when Rohan and RGV still stayed by him. Then after Holi, after the groping incident, she bluntly blamed Varun and threatened police action.
The right response came when the class was threatened with suspension- and he saved them- and then Prof Rigved announcing Varun's suspension- when everyone on the floor thanked him- the BFFs, especially Sanju, last. Everyone hates him? Not quite.
