Alok helps Parul catch the i10

Rajan Shahi's Bidaai is famous for the team-spirit and the camaraderie among its actors.

They all treat each other like family and bail each other out when in need. Amongst the lot, the two actors who take their on-screen relationship rather seriously off-screen as well are Alok Nath and lead Parul Chauhan (Ragini). Alok, who plays father to Parul in Bidaai, showers the same love and care on her in real life.

Apparently, Alok Nath advanced Parul Rs 4.5 lakh to buy a car. Says a source close to the actors, "Sara Khan recently bought a Spark and came in it to Angad Hasiija's (Alekh of Rajan Shahu's Bidaai) birthday party. It was then that a concerned Alok advised Parul to buy a car too. But when Parul told him that her monthly expenses didn't leave enough for her to save for it, Alok said that he would buy her a car."

"The next morning Alok Nath signed a cheque worth Rs. 4.5 lakh in the name of Parul Chauhan. She has her eyes set on an i10," adds our source.

Another source from the production house says, "It is true that Alok Nath has given her an amount of Rs 4.5 lakh, but it has to be repaid by her later. He has just lent the amount to her."

Bidaai sisters bond at SPA brand launch

Like on screen, Sara and Parul are inseparable in real life too. The bonding was evident at the Star Parivaar brand launch. Check out the pics.

How about getting one for yourself - Sara seems to be asking Parul.

Sara has forgotten something, probably to call her boyfriend and is getting uncomfortable about it.

Well, the cookery book would save my day and I can definitely patch up with my boyfriend by cooking some dishes from it.

Together we stand, pose and act too.

It's great to get beautiful gifts and that too for free.

It's a first time for Vibha

Bidaai is Vibha Chibbar's debut serial on Star Plus. She plays the character of Kaushalya (fondly called mami) in the serial. Vibha has been nominated for the Critics choice Favourite Maa category.

Women love jewellery and our TV actresses are no different. But what when you get a gift that you were least expecting?

Naturally you are excited. And that's exactly what happened with some of the glam ladies the other day. They were all at this event organised by their channel when they were suddenly given gifts like gold earring and necklaces.

It was an event with merchandise used in shows on display and present here were Sarita Joshi and Sara Khan. Actress and tarot reader Munisha Khatwani was compering the show. The surprise for the women was indeed a pleasant one and they surely wouldn't mind more such surprises in the future. After all, have women ever said no to jewellery!
