pak serials and our culture!

Do u think pak serials are portraying our culture/religion?

Coz these days most serials are showing glamour rather than focusing on the story line.... and i really get annoyed when they show someone is drinking in a bar or gambling in a casino... which totally contrast with our culture/religion... but wots ur view about this topic?

I hope pakistani serials stay in their limits and don't try to become like iNDIAN SERIALS.

Yeah,I hate that tooo. They should ban these kind of serials. What I hate about some pakistani serials is that they are starting to show a lot of skin. I hope Pakistani serials stick to their culture do not lose their charm.

it is not against our culture. it is against our religion. 2 different things here.
secondly, i hate it when i want to watch pure pakistani stuff and i don't get the same qwuality as before.
other than that if you dont like it then dont watch it. there is always the PTV channel.
no point in commenting on others. plus it happens in real life too so no point in commenting on the channel. these programs would shut down if there are no viewers for it. its the peopes fault who generate demand for these shows.
the private chAnnels are in it for the money so these images bring money for them. ofcourse it is not the right way buit then who are we to coment on how other people lead their lives.

In my opinion, in the modern days, Pakistani serials are not reflecting our culture, or even our religion. I hardly watch them anymore, for they have begun to be the same as Indian serials, such as teh Ekta ones. It really gets to me, how they have these twisted things going on, how the girls are showing off too much skin, how people who are suppose to be Muslim, are drinking alcohol. It disgusts me.
It seems like Paki serials are going way ahead, and not in a good way. I just hope they stay in their limits, reflecting our culture and not going too far!

Wait a minute.....isn't working in showbiz not permitted for women in Islam anyways. So pakistani serials right there are going against our culture/religion. But because it is 2007 now, women working is not a big deal. However, the way they are portrayed in these serials does give an outsider or third person the wrong idea abt our culture/religion.

some of guy stayed that u hope that the dramas stay inside the limits of our culture/religion.......i would just like to to fill u in on the fact that they are too way out of the limits of our religion and culture.....srry but that is just the simple fact

PAkistan always follow Indain and western people only in fashion not in studies or technology... well anyways I hope pakistani people become little religious and start representing our religion on tv in good ways like indian people always show their Bagwan and stuff like that on thier movies and serials

yup but also the kind of c.lothes they wear and plsu beforea actrors and actresses had a limt like you know romatic scenes iv watched a few so called FAMILY drams (i thnk all pakistani dramas are suppsoed to be family) anyway way the sces are dsigusting they are tryign to act like english holding ahnds hugging and then the ebd scenes ..are like awful the actress ontop of the actor i ws lyk omg !! and sum of them even had a kiss ..not on the lips but a kiss on the hand or cheak i ws like state !!! ..have a limit!!!
