Debate Mansion: Revised/ Updated Rules- Must Check

The Spirit of Debate Mansion, explains well the mind set one should have while participating here.

Seeing member's interest in discussing, "Current Affairs", we are just revising,

DM: Rules-guidelines, for better participation.

1) Whoever on the grounds of religion, race, caste or community, sex,gender identity, sexual orientation, place of birth, residence,language, disability or tribe, uses any means of communication to:
(a) gravely threaten any person or group of persons with the intention to cause fear of injury or alarm; or
(b)advocates hatred towards any person or group of persons using,derogatory information with the intent to provoke any person or group ofpersons, will get straight 40% warning level raise.

2)Process of reducing this warning level, will remain same as general IFsystem, ie during first 3 months 20% WL reduction, followed by another 3 months forremaining 20% WL reduction. Provided during these 6 months, there is no other case ofrule breaking or receiving warning pm, across all the forums of IF.

3)Considering DM members are adults, well aware of do's & dont's while commenting, sending warning pms, will be avoided.

However general reminders & DT notes, will be posted on threads, whenever required.

4)If after this, someone constantly breaches DM participation guidelines,will be eligible for 20% warning level raise. MIDs, trolls, will getbanned.

5) In addition to the above mentioned section guidelines, at all times

India-Forums.com- Participation Guidelines & Rules  will be in effect.

We hope that all of you will abide by these rules.

Some more pts are added in forum Rules & Guidelines, please remember them while posting.

We consider all members participating in DM as an adult, who are well aware of IF rules & guidelines & are completely responsible for their posts. In case of any forum rules violation, please do not expect dt to edit your post 99% time. We don't want to offend you by acting like school teacher correcting kid's homework. Either your entire post stays or it gets removed. So please cooperate with us.

During debates, personal attacks, direct or indirect dig, sarcastic comments on members/ DT members, are strictly not allowed. Such members will get 20% WL raised, without any warning pm & their posts will be removed. It is observed that some members use this forum to ridicule, demean, members/DT members. Such cases are eligible for direct WL raise by 20%.

DM topics are for healthy debating. State your points clearly with proper reasoning and avoid any sarcasm to make a point. 

Religion instigating/ inconsiderate topics, are not allowed.

Avoid posting instigating/ insensitive remarks, even if they were in response to an offensive post by someone else, report that post. 

Topics, posts, which are not appropriate for DM, will be removed without any notice.

At times some topics are moved from BWF to DM. Debate worthy topics will be allowed. Others may be removed from this section.

Twitter/Insta/fb/news/videos etc Social Media updates, will be allowed from an authentic source.

Random tweets or SM updates may not be allowed always.

Other topics about rules posted in past, just for your reference.
