Chi Chi wants back the land he gifted Rani



In their buddy days, Govinda had gifted Rani Mukerji a bungalow in Juhu on a plot that belonged to him. In those days, she lived with her parents in an apartment in Andheri and was on the lookout for a bigger place.

When Govinda learnt that Rani was looking out for real estate in the suburbs, he gifted her the bungalow. The papers that were in Govinda's name were later transferred to the actresses' name, making her the sole owner.

With time, the duo drifted apart and even ceased to be friends. Now, sources reveal that Govinda wants Rani to return the bungalow to him.

Reversal of fortunes

A source reveals, "At the time he gifted the place to her, he was a big star and she was just an upcoming actress. Today she the bigger star and he struggling to make a comeback. Naturally, he thinks he has the right to ask her to return the gift.

He'd gifted Rani the Juhu property due to emotional reasons and those reasons no longer exist. Besides, Rani recently bought a sprawling property in Juhu's Janki Kutir area, so Govinda thinks it's the right time to ask her to hand over the bungalow back to him."

The actor-turned-MP hasn't yet contacted Rani directly, but has been dcussing the possibility with a few common friends. The source continues, "Chi Chi a very emotional person. In the past, he has gifted close friends and relatives huge amounts of money and lavh gifts."

Except a few close friends, no one knows about Govinda's gift to Rani, "She too didn't mention it to anyone. But now with Chi Chi talking about taking the property back, it will soon be out in the open."
The moment we mentioned Rani to Govinda, he hung up.

"Rani is not dating Aditya Chopra," says a close friend of the actress, talking about the alleged Adi-Rani love affair



A very close friend of Rani Mukherjee has categorically denied that the actress is having an affair with director Aditya Chopra.

According to a recent report, director Aditya Chopra has filed for divorce from his wife Payal Chopra because he is in love with Rani Mukherji. The report also said that soon after the divorce Adi will get engaged to Rani. "Please don't ask us about Adi's personal life. If Adi is filing for divorce, it's his problem, not Rani's. Rani is not dating Aditya Chopra," says the friend.

Rani may not be in love with Adi, but, perhaps, Adi in love with Rani? "What rubbish?" says the friend. "Rani is Adi's friend😆. They are working together in many projects. I think one should end this story here and leave Rani alone."

Incidentally, Aditya and his family are very close to Rani's family. And right now, all of them are upset. "Rani is very close to Yashji and his family. In fact, Payal is also fond of Rani. If Adi is having some problem in his married life, which we are not even aware of, Rani shouldn't be dragged into it. Rani is not a home-breaker!" says the friend.

Did Rani call Adi or Payal and sort out the issue? "Why should she? Adi knows the truth and he will never misunderstand Rani," replies the friend. "There is a lot of jealousy in this industry, and people are trying to malign her. It's easy to write such stories because Rani is single and is not dating anyone. I wish she were! Now, we have asked her to create a fictitious boyfriend and tell everyone that she is engaged. That's the only way she can resolve this problem."

The buzz is that father Yash Chopra has asked Adi to leave home and stay in a hotel, and that the father and son are not on talking terms.

When contacted Rani Mukherji refused to comment on the stories doing the rounds in the media and the film industryz. Currently shooting for Ravi Chopra's Baabul, the actress refused to take calls or even reply to SMSes.

Aditya and Payal's marriage has been on the rocks for a while, since his affair with actress Rani Mukherji, was spread all over the gossip columns.

Rani has most definitely been seeing Aditya as Aditya has been seen glued to her all over the place. Neighbours in the area of Versova were witnesses to marathon sessions between Govinda and Rani, while it is a fact that Govinda's wife Sunita moved out of the family when news of Rani and Govinda's duel flat residence came to light.

It may sound unusual but Rani is the Queen of gossips in Bollywood, with reported affairs ranging from Aamir Khan to Shaad Ali, and Anil Kapoor to Abhishek Bachchan.

Rumor started doing the rounds since 2006.

The affair probably started a year or two before 2006.
