CHAPTER 47
SPACE Academy.
Manik halted the car in front of SPACE gate while mukti said "Manik, nandini's phone location shows old building." They drove towards old building and stopped seeing nandini's car there. They all came out and find the driver was lying there in unconscious state.
And watching his condition their worries increase with another level. Cabir make him seat in the car and manik and mukti rushed inside the building. They were actually running when mukti's eyes fell on something and she said "Manik ruk... Nandini's handbag..."
He saw her handbag lying over the corridor and all the papers and books were spread over there. It was looking as if someone had thrown it ought here and looking at it manik whispered out of horror "Nandini..."
He almost run over the corridor and mukti and cabir followed him. Soon they came near the music room and they heard some noise from the room. He rushed inside and watching the sight inside it made him freeze over there only.
He saw pandit Trilok Chaurasiya, the person behind his nandini's once a vulnerable state was standing there with smirk on his face and looking at him manik's anger rise over the peak and he immediately grabbed his neck and pinned him to the wall.
Pandit was hell shocked to see him here while manik's eyes were red spitting fire. He harshly punch his stomach and shouted loudly "what are you doing here han? And where is my nandini?" He again punched him but that shameless pandit was not even uttering a word instead was giving his famous evil smirk.
Then finally he laughed evilly and said while wiping the blood out of his face which was oozing out because of manik malhotra's punch. "Tch Tch Tch... Manik Malhotra... tumhari anndini hei to yahi par I'm sure wo bahot jald upar chali jayegi..." As soon as he finished this, he got avery hard punch on his stomach from manik and the intensity of the punch was such that pandinit fell over the floor hardly hitting ground.
When suddenly mukti shouted from behind "Manik... Nandini is here in studio." He turned and what he saw is enough to scar him to the death as nandini was lying unconscious on the studio room which was fully air tight and her face was looking so pale as if someone have just give her a ride of hell.
He was so shocked to react that he just froze at his place. He didn't move an inch. While from behind pandit got up and was about to hit manik with the big rod but before that two pair of hands came hold the rod before it hit manik's head. It was none other than cabir.
Cabir held the rod and then pushed that pandit with his lags while manik was still standing there shocked. He came out of the shock when he saw mukti is struggling to hold nandini. He immediately rushed inside and pick her up in his arms hiding her in his protective embrace. His eyes were already having tears of fear of the thought of losing her and looking at his state mukti patted his shoulder and said "Manik... nandu ko kuchh nahi hoga ok? Mei car nikalti hu tu chal jaldi hospital..."
"Nandu... please open your eyes na..." Manik was continuously reaping this words sitting at the back sit of the car while hiding nandini on his arms fully. "Shona... look at me na... see your mani is here... please ankhe kholo na..." manik again pleaded her to open her eyes while placing uncountable kisses on her face but today nandini was just not responding to his any of pleads. Mukti was on driving sit and her eyes were shedding numerous tears watching her both friends' condition.
Meanwhile dhruv and Aliya came with police and arrest that pandit for nandini's kidnaping. And then cabir along with dhruliya rushed to the hospital.
City Hospital, Mumbai.
Manik run towards special ward with unconscious nandini in his arms. And he himself was a celebrity, looking his condition the staff of the hospital were shocked. Doctor lied nandini on the stretcher and led her to the ICU. All the while manik was holding nandini's hand.
Doctor tried to separate their hands but manik was not ready to let go of nandini's hand. He was continuously staring at her face and his hold on nandini's hand was so tight. Doctor look at mukti who was standing behind for help.
Mukti somehow composed herself and came towards manik. She place her hand on his shoulder while saying "Manik... Dekh tu nandini ka hath chhodega nai to doctor use treet keise karenge..." listening his words manik look at her while mukti again said as a loving sister "Please manik... let doctor treat her na..."
While like an obedient kid he slowly let go of her hand, while mukti made him sit on the bench. While cabir and dhruliya running towards them. They looked at manik who was just staring at the door of nandini's room.
They looked at mukti and she blinked her eyes in assurance while cabir came forward and patted manik's shoulder. While mukti gestured dhruv to come a little away from them and then she said "Dhruv... I think we should talk with hospital staff not to revel this news. As people know about mnaik and nandini's relation then it will become hard for us if media get to know about this news." Dhruv nodded and said "You are right mukti. Don't worry I will take care of it. And ya for now police has arrested that pandit."
And listening about pandit, mukti as usual become angry and said greeting her teeth "Us pandit ki to mei..." but calming her down dhruv said "No mukti... not now... es wakt manik aur nanidni ko hamari zaroorat hei. Use to ham badme dekh lenge."
After an hour later.
All this while manik was just staring at the door. After half an hour doctor came outside and finally manik's gaze shifted towards him while all rushed towards doctor and he said "This case is very critical. There was a lot of poison inside of her body. It looks as if she has inhaled in poison filled air. We have tried our maximum to remove the poison from her blood. And we have also succeeded in it. But if she won't wake up in next 24 hours then I can't say anything. But let's hope for the best."
Doctor's words fell like bomb on them. And navya who had just came from home leaving abeer with a caretaker, just hugged to cabir and cried her heart out listening her best friend is fighting with death. While Aliya was weeping silently placing their head over dhruv's shoulder. Mukti was looking at manik with tears in her eyes who was not even blinking his eyes and tears were continuously flowing from his red swollen eyes.

Manik's eyes were red with unstoppable tears were flowing from his eyes. Then suddenly he get up from his place while others were watching him.

He started to walk towards opposite side silently while cabir held his shoulder to stop him and said "Manik... are manik sun to... " but as if a deaf person he didn't stopped neither reacted and continued to walk.

He was walking and walking remembering the time he spent with her. How she entered in his dark life and illuminate it with her light of fireflies and his stars. She is the sole reason of his happiness.

He walked till the end of the corridor and suddenly stopped looking sideway. He saw a temple and remember how she made him stand in front of temple in Malhotra mansion last Diwali and she herself place that temple there. He remember how she used to pray to her god Aiyappa every night.
He also did the same and joining his hands together and knelt down in front of the temple of ganesha in hospital. While FAB 4 and navya were looking at him with more worry and fear of losing their friends. Manik knelt down and muttered slowly under his breath "Please give her back... please give her back... I can't... I just can't live without her... please... please give her back... please give her back..."

Soon his whisper become clear to everyone and they sow their ever strong friend, a single pillar of their happy family was in complete broken state. The Manik Malhotra himself was known as an arrogant, rude rockstar and an authoritive businessman, was in complete broken state because his star was not there to shine for him.
Soon FAB 4 came and hugged manik tightly while crying themselves. They were broken as the reason of their happiness and the soul reason of their reunion as well and happy life was not there with them. They all don't know what will happen but one thing they knew is for sure they can't lose their one and only shining star.
