Hey friends...in the upcoming episodes of BI we hope to see some scenes between ZAYA while they are away in the business trip..so what will happen during the last four days of their married life..will Zain give Aaliya the third tallaq..or will they reconcile and help each other to heal the wounds..will they still be Aliya and Zain or will they separate and go their own ways..to know more..read my new work on the current track..!
CHAPTER 1: A LITTLE CLOSER...
The streets drifted by-bright doorways,lights,rows of street lamp,the sweetnmild effervescence of life mingling with the salty air,,the gentle fever of the night and between the roofs the iron cast sky,against which the city flung its light.She sat-silent,beside him,brightness and shadow through the window glided across her face,as he secretly watched her,as they drove off towards the airport,unaware of the things waiting for them,things that could even change their lives...

Aaliya was the 51% share holder of The Barkat Group Of Hotels,while he owned 49% of it.They had no other option than to take the flight to Seatlle, to attend the international conference to be held for 4 days.For 4 goddamn days!They were visibly embittered by the current turn of events.How were they supposed to endure each other for 4 days ,in a foreign land,when neither of them found it easy to breath in each others presence,when Zain left no stone unturned to belittle her in front of everyone and remind her in every step- every second of the day how much he hated her,how much he despised her for taking away his hero from him,when that was not even close to the truth,the very truth that he had conveniently brushed off without even giving her a chance to clear the air between them.
Aaliya Za- Ghulam Haider wondered how she would survive his taunts and the pain taht he would inflict on her every day,the pain which would be greater than what she was going ,the pain that would mark the end of their relationship,the pain that would come from letting go of the last vestige of their marriage,the last glimmer of hope in her eyes and the faith that she had rested on her Allah,who had always promised to be by her side...
The entire flight was unusually quiet,barring the infinitesimal mewing sounds occasionaly coming from the little baby boy in his mother's arms across the aisle .They had not spoken a word to each other,and somehow her silence disturbed and irked him at the same time.Silence hung above their head like an ominous omniscient observer,following them everywhere,like their own shadow,But then was there anything left between them that they could talk about...The silence in which the only sound that could be heard was that of their screaming hearts..writhing in excruciating pain,pain of unshed tears ,pain of emotions that he had locked up inside his heart,apin of hurt,betrayl, and perfidy,pain of being alone in a crowded room...
he looked at her while she was looking away somewhere lost in thought,he wondered what she was thinking about..was it about 'them' ..or was it about someone else ?It was the longest that he had gone without talking to her..he sometimes felt jealous of this new version of 'Aaliya' -how unfazed,unaffected and indifferent she could be amidst the torrent storms,their broken reality and shattered dreams...two people who were meant to be with each till their last breath,were now standing against each other...away from each other,sometimes he wondered why she had done it,when he trusted her more than he trusted himself,when he believed in her more than he believed in himself-how could she have betrayed him.If he had known that she would break his heart one day,then he would have never fallen in love with ehr in the first place...his mind went blank as he tried to remember the last time he had seen her smile...like be really happy...and not just contended..The last four days were left,the very thought of it made the pain a little more unbearable...That night unknown to themselves they came closer to each other,..just a tad bit...Her head rested on his shoulder-she had drifted off into a deep slumber.Zain looked at her sleeping form and splinters of his memory flashed before his eyes...he noticed the dark circles under her eyes,,the glow had vanished from her face-replaced by something which felt to him,as if she was fighting a losing battle,clinging onto the last straw with all her life..For a split second he wanted to wake her up,but couldn't help but refrain himself.She needed the sleep...she needed ..and after nearly three months they were sitting so close to each other...ZAin felt as if he had found that missing piece of the puzzle which was his heart,the one that she had solved not long ago...His own eyes dropped,the surroundings blurred...he looked at her one last time before slipping into the blissful oblivion..and that night,after so many sleepless nights,he at last felt a little closer to home.he rested his head on top of her,and his arms went around her shoulder,while he felt her body relax against him...
