Sanjana was walking in corridor remembering some words "wo bhi dekh lenge, I would love to face that situation, dekhte hai waqt mere vishwas ko kam kar payega ya nahi….." today almost 30 days were completed , still no one in hospital knows what happened in AR life, still no one knows that they're penniless now… whole month they remained very normal as if nothing happened, hardly she'd seen them in sad mood or crying for money, very calm and easily going, she's very surprised….

Flashback..

It's 5th jan, sanjana was in changing room, when armaan riddhima entered in locker room….

R: armaan (while taking out lab coat for both of them) aaj shaam ko market lekar challoge, chotta chotta saaman reh gaya hai jo nahi liya aur parso jaana hai…

A: par aaj shaam madam 9 baje free honge yaha se, tab tak markt band ho jayegi.. (riddhima was in thoughts) tum kyun nahi challi jaati…

R: meri bhi der tak duty hai..

A: to ab challi jao, abhi to 2 hours hai tumhari duty start hone mai..

R: mai akeli bore ho jaungi, tum bhi challo na…

A: (giggled) tum ne to ladkiyon ka sir sharam se jhuka diya, ladkiya apne boyfriend, husband se bore ho sakti hai par shopping karte hue nahi, chahe to saara din hi unhe shopping mall mai bitha do aur tum keh rahi ho ki bore ho jaogi…

R: mr. armaan malik…. (putting her arms around his neck) pehli baat ye ki aapko ladkiyon ko lekar kuch jayda hi galat fehmi hai, lagta hai kuch jayda study kar li hai aapne iss subject par ussi ke kaaran aapko misunderstanding aur confusions bahut jayda ho gai hai iss subject mai, access hamesha harmful rehta hai…aur dusri baat ye ki abhi mai apne husband se bilkul bore nahi hui hun isliye shopping ka jayda craze nahi hai, waise bhi mere husband mere kuch kehne se pehle hi sab le aate hai to bacha kucha craze bhi khatam ho jaata hai shopping ka…. Aur ab tum chup chap bata do ki challoge mujhe market lekar ya nahi???

A: dr. keerti se permission le lo, mai chal lunga…

R: (detangling) maine to kuch kaha hi nahi… maine kab kaha tumhe saath chalne ke liye, kya mai akele nahi ja sakti, mujhe bacha samjha hai… (armaan start smiling)

A: kya hua tayein tayein fish???

R: fish yaha nahi fish market mai milti hai, filhaal tum mujhe paise de do mujhe
market jaana hai…

A: typical Indian women, kitni baar kaha hai ki apne pass paise rakha karo..

R: aur maine bhi kitni baar kaha hai ki mujhse paise sambhalte nahi hai, tumhe sambhal lun itna kaafi hai, aur directly kyu nahi kehte ki tumhare pass paise nahi hai…

A: so sweet of you, tum mujhe kitne ache se jaanti ho, ye lo ATM card aur market jaane se pehle paise nikal lena….

R: khud paise rakhte nahi ho aur mujhe kehte ho, kissi ko pata challa na ki mr. armaan malik apni pocket mai 100 rupees bhi rakhne se darte hai to sab behosh ho jayenge…

A: pocket mai jagah nahi hoti na, tumhari photo kaha rakhunga.. (he giggled for cracking such a stupid joke)

R: very funny (in between armaan gave her card and kissing her on cheeks he turned to go) card pakda diya, password kaun batayega????

A: your birthdate then my, that's our password, okk byee….( he shouted from door, riddhima smiled…)

In lunch break, she gave him ATM card back, by chance when he got up from table he forgot to pick up card, and when sanjana's gaze fell on it, she picked up, first she thought to return it back to him, infact she tried 2-3 times but he's not responding on her call, then sanjana's mind worked in other direction thinking ye sanjana tu kya kar rahi hai,

armaan se badla lene ka acha mauka hai, aur riddhima ki bhi akal theekane aa jayegi, paisa ho paas mai to sab sher hi bante hai, jab nahi honge paas mai aur market mai actually aate daal ka rate pata challega hardly basic necessities hi puri hongi to inhe pata challega ki inka pyar kaha lie karta hai,

riddhima kitne din jhellegi armaan ko atlast pareshan hokar usse chod degi, after all dr. shashank ki beti hai, bachpan se har cheez bina maange mili hogi par ek dum se jab restrictions lag jayegi to kitne din jhelegi aur atlast pareshan hokar usse chodkar challi jayegi.. chodkar nahi jayegi to atleast har roj dono mai ladai hua karegi basic needs ke liye hi,

tab unhe pata challega unke pyar ki asliyat kya hai aur riddhima ka to ghamand tutega hi saath mai mera badla bhi pura ho jayega armaan se, usse uski kiye ki saaja bhi mil jayegi…. And she entered in ATM and transferred that money in new account thinking that she'll return him this money, bas ek baar riddhima accept kare ki wo galat thi aur armaan khud apni aisi haalat kar le ki usme aur dead mai koi farak na rahe… bas ek baar… meri aatma ko sukoon mil jayega…..

PRESENT….

This was what she thought but she's surprised in heart with their handling of this situation, they even didn't let this news out to anyone, that's more surprising, they didn't cried in front of anyone for money specially riddhima else being a woman she knew that one can't digest small things than this was a much biger so she expected her to share this news atleast with niki, but no reaction at all from their side, she mumbled to herself bahut hi bekaar idea tha ye waala unhe realize karwane ka, har cheez to hai unke pass, bas cash nahi hai, aur 3-4 days mai unhe salary mil jayegi to wo bhi mil jayega unhe, kiss cheez ki takleef hogi unhe…. I should return them their money… kuch aur sochenge, thinking so she entered in general ward….

Armaan was sitting in fire escape thinking about the past month, hardly they faced problem related to money and during this whole month riddhima's support remained wonderful, much more than he expected… it's not like she did sacrifice or compromise for something coz still they're having 60,000-70,000 with them so they faced no problem during the month,

but the way she stand with him through out the month was wonderful for him, she kept on encouraging him when ever he felt down, understands him entirely whatever he wants to say, without her he can't even expect to forget the loss so easily but she made it possible, she helped him to deal with the situation, not letting him cry for once,

today he's very excited coz tomorrow they're getting their pay, he's feeling excited as though it's his first salary, he always wonder why every working person looks so excited for his/her first salary, why all of them makes a list of plans "how to spend their first salary"

coz being a child of successful businessman he'd never faced problems related to money and after the death of his parents he's the king of all property, basically from childhood he'd grown playing with money, so when he got his first salary his expressions was like okkk, isme kaunsi nayi baat hai and he's like laughing when saw his colleagues doing party and all

but today he could feel the joy and happiness of every employee and the attachment towards their first pay…for the first time in life, he himself was eagerly waiting for his salary and in heart was making plans of how to spend money coz lovers week was starting from day after tomorrow, so he thought may be this month they won't be able to deposit money in bank, savings will start from next month, what will he give riddhima on valentines day, he start thinking..

then took a deep breathe valentines ka to baad mai sochenge pehle to aaj hum kahi bahar ghum kar aate hai, kitne din ho gaye dono ek saath bike par ghumne nahi gaye, he got up and turned towards door excitedly, but before he could open door, it banged on his nose, aaauuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu…. He holds his nose….

R: (entering in fire escape) so sorry armaan… mujhe nahi pata tha ki tum bhi… (he
rubbed his nose)

A: aaahhhhh bahut dard ho rahi hai, serious medication ki jarurat hai…. (he said this naughtily, but riddhima didn't noticed his expressions)

R: mai abhi dawai lekar aati hun… (she turned, but he holds her hand)

A: dawai yaha par hi hai, kaha jaa rahi ho????

R: (looking confusingly) kaha????

A: (placed his fingure on her lips) yahan… tumse achi aur koi medication ho sakti hai kya mere liye???

R: hmmm… to ye sab naatak tha huh???

A: aaahhh mere dard ko naatak ka naam dekar mere dard ki bej.. bejj… (thought a bit then) forget it.. insult na karo…. (riddhima gave him weird look) wo aaj koi purani movie chal rahi thi canteen mai, ussi ki line maari hai… (riddhima smiled at his innocent answer, then caressed his hair, and kissed on his nose lovingly.. he smiled.. riddhima asked with eyes is it ok now???? He mumbled such that she could hear) naak pe hi lagni thi chot, kaash daant toot jaata kitna maaja aata… (riddhima looked him with hands on her hips)

R: lao mai tod deti hun….. (he giggled…)

A: okk now serious waali baat, riddhima bahar ghumne challein???

R: par aaj hum dono ki sheekha ke pass duty hai, we can't go… aur unki tabiyat bhi theek nahi hai…

A: please na sirf aadhe ghante ki baat hai, abhi waise bhi unhe neend ka injection diya hua hai, unke uthne se pehle hum waapis aa jayenge, please..

R: agar dr. keerti ko pata chala to????

A: are raat ke 11 baj rahe hai, dr. keerti ghar jaa chukki hai…

R: parr..

A: ice cream khaani hai???? (he smiled in heart thinking ab to wo mana kar hi nahi)

R: okkk…(as expected….armaan pulled her hand and both goes on bike with riddhima driving and armaan was hooting from back..)

For 15 minutes they remained roaming on roads, playing game, armaan start writing
words on Her back…

R: armaan kya kar rahe ho??? mujhe gud gudi ho rahi hai… aur drive bhi nahi ho raha…

A: actually hum game khel rahein hai tum batao mai kya likh raha hun???

R: waoooo whatn an idea… mai drive karun ya tumhare words par concentrate karun???

A: ( very dramatically ) driving par concentrate karo aur dil ki aankhon se dekho ki mai kya likh raha hun….

R: armaan mai normal ladki hun isliye mera dil piche nahi aage hai…

A: very funny…

R: tumse kam… (and she stopped bike with a jerk, armaan's head bumped into hers)

A: abe oe aaram se break nahi lagani aati kya???

R: dhang se baat karo, aur ice-cream piche nikal gayi hai, lekar aao ab jaakar… (armaan got down and brought one ice cream) armaan aaj mai apni ice-cream bilkul share nahi karungi, 1 baar kya khilla di ab to tumne apni ice-cream laani hi band kar di….

Armaan showed her tongue and makes a face but was laughing in heart at her cute talks, riddhima start eating, armaan pleaded for one bite, but she didn't melt and kept on eating her softy, atlast armaan without giving any alarm attacked from opposite side at the same time when riddhima was… both heads collide with each other but armaan didn't get back, riddhima tried to pulled her softy but armaan holds her hand tightly and took first bite from softy then rest of the cream from her upper lip, riddhima tried to back out but he holds her from her head, when they're apart….

A: aaahhhh kitni tasty ice-ceam thi na.. (looking at her teasingly)

R: meri softyyyyy…. (making a face looking at melted softy, armaan laughed.. riddhima looked him angrily…)

A: riddhima kya bacho ki tarah iss softy ke liye ro rahi ho, abhi sabse achi ice-cream khilayi hai tumhe aur phir bhi tum… (before he could complete riddhima hitted that softy on his nose….) hooo ye kya kar diya riddhima.. (removing that wafer piece and still ceam was on his nose..) ab jab kiya hai to saaf bhi tumhe hi karna padega, challo baby… apna kaam start kar do…

he moved close to her and riddhima start rushing, rushing but armaan holds her from though a little late…. Her heart beats was very loud… armaan with fingure asked her to come near and clear that cream quickly, riddhima asked him to close eyes, and quickly cleans that cream with her duppatta… armaan said that's not fair, and she said everything is fair in war…

armaan makes a face, she nuzzled her nose with him and smiled putting arms around his neck… atlast he also smiled, then bought 1 more softy and both settled on ground, armaan placed his head in her lap, passing softy turnwise to each other, after some time they got up realizing it's quiet late, they should leave now…. And with in 15 minutes they're in hospital…. No doctor was present there, so they took a breathe of relief…and very quietly entered in special ward…. Relieved when saw sheekha still sleeping and start doing acting of discussing the case when saw dr. shashank on rounds…. 1 hour passed but sheeekha didn't waked up…

A: itna strong to injection bhi nahi diya tha jitna sheekha so rahi hai…

R: pregnancy mai aksar neend jayda aati hai…

A: acha phir tumhe kyu itni jayda neend aati hai????

R: mujhe normal logo ki tarah normal neend aati hai ab tum abnormal ho to mai kya kar sakti hun…

A: filhaal hum iss discussion ko baad mai continue karienge, pehle aap sheekha madam ko utha dijiye, inka b.p check karna hai aur medicines deni hai…

Riddhima smiled and nodded, tried to wake up sheekha but no response, riddhima felt slightly nervous, again she tried to wake her up but no response… she called armaan..

R: armaan ye response kyu nahi kar rahi hai??? (with fear)

A: riddhima relax, mai dekhta hun… pulse normal hai.. (checking her wrist, riddhima was slightly relaxed, she again called her but no response and then placed her sthethoscope on her heart, heart beat was normal, then placed sthethoscope on her tummy but felt no movements, she rolled sthethoscope everywhere but no reaction at all..)

R: (with raised heart beats) armaan baby koi movement kyu nahi kar raha hai… (she again checked her but no movements) armaan koi movement nahi ho rahi hai… kya karein armaan…. kahi kuch… sheekha.. sheekha… (she in panic called her named several times and infact raised her hand but it fell back as if she's dead… riddhima looked at armaan with tears in eyes…. Armaan also felt nervous but asked her to calm down…. He checked her eyes then asked riddhima she needs to be shifted in emergency ward…)

After few minutes they paged dr. keerti as they were not getting what had happened to her, why she was not responding, may be they knew deep in heart but still don't want that their thoughts would take the face of reality…. Dr. keerti entered in emergency ward and asked to give her details then asked them to leave E.W…

Armaan riddhima came out of ward, both were very nervous, praying for shikha and her baby deep from heart, after sometime riddhima looked at armaan and asked him wo theek to ho jayegi na… armaan was himself in a daze, what he could say to her, but he placed his hand on hers riddhima placed her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes, after 4 hours dr. keerti along with other senior doctor whom she called from second building came out, armaan, riddhima quickly goes near them..

A: ab kaisi hai mrs. shikha dr. keerti???

R: aur unka baby.. (she stopped when saw unreadable expressions in her eyes, she looked at armaan with horror…)

Second doctor: they were the incharge of this case, isn't it??? (dr. keerti nodded) how come??? Dr. keerti aap itni badi galti kaise kar sakti hai….. case handle karne se pehle inki capability to dekh lete, aaj inki wajah se ek patient ki jaan khatre mai hai.. disgusting.. pata nahi kaise ye doctor ban gaye… (her pager start ringing, she left making a face at armaan and riddhima which made them scared even more…)

A: dr. keerti kya hua hai???

Ke: (looking at armaan and riddhima with anger) iska jawab to aapko kal saare staff aur trustees ke saamne dena hoga ki kya hua hai aur aapne kya aur kyu kiya??? Itni badi galti.. labour pain ke injections aur tumour ke liye itni heavy dosage ek saath de di, kya tumhe nahi pata tha ki tumour ki medication delivery ke baad shuru karni thi, kiski permission se tumne unhe itni heavy dose di dr. armaan, kya tumhe nahi pata tha ki unki dosage ka effect unke baby par hoga directly aur dr. riddhima aapne unhe pains aur neend ke injections saath saath de diye,

kya aapme jara bhi dimag nahi hai, agar kaam karne ka mann nahi hota to ghar par aaram karo yaha kyu aate ho, tumhari wajah se aaj patient ki itni critical condition hai, unhone apna baby to kho hi diya hai, saath mai unka nervous break down bhi ho gaya hai, ab unki saasein to chal rahi hai par wo jinda laash ban gayi hai, coma, she had stepped into coma just becoz of you and your carelessness…. (armaan and riddhima was shocked, looking her with widened eyes) pata nahi kaise itni badi galti kar di, itni carelessness maine aap dono se bilkul expect nahi ki thi, lagta tha ki aap dono mai bachpana hai par iss baat ko bhi ache se jaante ho ki doctors ko galtiyan aur careless hona bilkul allowed nahi hota, bahut soch samajhkar tum dono ko ye case diya tha, par tum dono ne mujhe galat prove kar diya…

A: par dr. keerti humne mrs. Sheekha ko ye treatment diya hi nahi… (remembering that he's not yet started giving her medication)

Ke: dr. armaan well done, very well done… pachtawa to dur ki baat hai, galti ke liye apologize ya sorry to kya feel karoge, jhoot bol rahe ho apni galti chupane ke liye… well done….

R: dr. keerti armaan sach keh raha hai, humne ye medication di hi nahi, infact hume to pata hi nahi iske baare mai kuch bhi…

Ke: ohh great dr. riddhima, again I'd not expected this from you, atleast aap to sach bolti..

R: par dr. keerti yehi sach hai…

Ke: to kya aapka bhoot inhe ye medicines de gaya tha??? Aapki patient hai aapke alava inhe kaun aur attend kar sakta hai..

R: par dr. keerti..

Ke: just shut up dr. riddhima (with anger which scared riddhima deeply, everyone start looking at them, in between dr. keerti received page from dr. shashank, she looked at armaan and riddhima and left from there)

With in 2 hours all the staff members along with trustees gathered in conference hall, armaan riddhima was standing at one corner, trustees had already taken decision…

Trustee1: aap dono ko pata hai ki aapne kitni badi galti ki hai, aapki galti ke kaaran hospital ki reputation par kitna effect pad sakta hai, kitna bada case ban sakta hai iss galti ke kaaran….

Trustee2: iss galti ke liye hum aapko rusticate kar sakte hai, par aapka past record dekh kar humne decide kiya hai ki hum aapko yaha se rusticate nahi karenge, par… aapko saja jarur milegi, firstly aap dono ko phir se viva aur written test clear karna hoga jo next week hoga, no need to say tab tak aap dono hospital nahi aa sakte, agar aap dono test clear kar lete hai to aap duty to join kar sakte hai par Jab tak patient sheekha bilkul theek nahi ho jaati tab tak aapko aur koi patient attend karne ki permission nahi hai chahe phir unhe 2 weeks lage, 2 months 2 years… hamesha kissi ke under aapko karna hoga, ya apne seniors ya aapke colleagues, inki permission ke bina aap koi treatment kissi ko nahi de sakte… (armaan wants to interfere but) abhi humne baat complete nahi ki hai, don't interrupt in between… you are not allowed to do any surgeries and you will not be promoted as senior doctors till patient sheekha will be normal, this is last warning for both of you, concentrate on your work else one day you'll have to pay heavily for your carelessness…. (before he could end, dr. shashank said something in his ear, after 5 minutes discussion) aur ab se aapki pay 4500-5000 hua karegi… (to this again both were surprised, in fact everyone was shocked coz in life no body heard that this kind of punishment is also given, till AR were not getting for what reason they're getting this punishment)

A: par humne mrs. Sheekha ko ye medication nahi di thi, hum to tabhi bahar se aaye the.. (he tried to explain but..)

Dr. Shashank: look doctors galti ki hai to usse accept karo, jhoot bolkar apne aap ko bachane ki koshish mat karo… aur maine khud aapko medication dete ue dekha hai, hum aapko force nahi kar rahe aapke pass 1 week ka time hai, 2 options hai aapk pass ya aap 1 week baad test dene aa jaana aur jo bhi kaha gaya hai follow karna, ya phir aap test dene mat aaiyega aur apne doctor ke career ko yehi khatam kar ke koi dusra profession start kar do, yaha se nikale jaane ke baad aapko kahi aur job nahi milegi as a intern as wel as doctor, so choice is entirely yours….

R: (before letting him complete) test kab aur kaha hoga dr. shashank, aur kaun lega hamara test…

Sh: ohh to aap accept karti hai ki ye galti aapne hi ki hai, aur aapko koi problem nahi hai kissi bhi cheez se... (riddhima didn't said anything, looking down.. she felt armaan had dropped her hand…) dr. armaan ab to aapki partner ne bhi accept kar liya hai, I'm sure ab aapko kuch nahi kehna hoga…. (armaan didn't said anything, don't know what was going on in his mind, dr. shashank smiled and after 5-10 minutes meeting was ended… when all the trustees left, arman looked around and felt that everyone was talking in each other ears… he felt heavy and without saying a word he left from there, riddhima followed him….)

Armaan goes in fire escape and settled on one step his both hands clasped with each other against his head, he was still trying to understand the situation and trying to understand what mistake they did, riddhima settled next to armaan, armaan makes a little distance between them by shifting to other side…

R: armaaannnn…. (again surprised with his reaction)

A: please riddhima leave me alone, I don't want anyone…

R: armmaan aise kyu keh rahe ho???

A: riddhima kaha na mujhe akela chod do abhi, I don't want you… (with anger)

R: armaannnn….

A: riddhima tumne aisa kyu kiya unhe sachai kyu nahi batai kyu itni aasani se wo galti accept kar li jo humne ki hi nahi thi, ya apne papa ke saamne tumhari jubaan par taala lag gaya tha, apne papa ko kuch bolne ki himmaty nahi hui….bolo kyu kuch nahi kaha… kyu chup rahi….

R: armaann just stop it armaan…. tumhe kya lagta hai ki mere kuch bolne se farak padta, kya wo accept kar lete ki humne ye sab nahi kiya hai bolo….koi hamari baat sun n eke liye taiyar nahi tha, to mai kya bolti???

A: par hum bewajah punishment kyu accept kare jab humne kuch kiya hi nahi… mai kabhi bhi ye test nahi dunga riddhima, tune jo karna hai tum karo, par mai viva nahi dunga, jab koi galti ki hi nahi to bhi chup chap uski saja bhugatna sabse badi bewkoofi hai aur mai ye bwkoofi kabhi nahi karunga…

R: prove kar sakte ho sabke saamne ki hamari koi galti nahi thi??? Kya sabko yakeen dilwa sakte ho armaan????

A: yakeen nahi karna to mat karo par mai bewajah koi punishment nahi jhelunga.. aakhir galti kya hai hamari jo hum punishment lein???

R: to theek hai armaan bhaag chalte hai yaha se, sabko ye yakeen dilwa dete hai ki hum hi galat the, yaad hai armaan tum hi kehte the na ki agar khud ko sahi prove karna hai to sabke saamne rehkar prove karo, dur jaakar nahi….

A: riddhima please let me leave alone, I'll decide myself what to do next.. tum kabhi samajh hi nahi paogi ki mai kya kehna chahta hun aur problem kya hai….

R: armaan please.. (placed her hand on his arm)

A: (pulling back his arm and almost like shouting) maine kaha na riddhima akela chod do mujhe…

R: (almost scared, tears start rolling down from her eyes) armaan maana tum pareshan ho, par pareshan to mai bhi hun na, suffer to mujhe bhi bina wajah karna padega na, galti to meri bhi koi nahi thi phir bhi saja to milegi na, jab mai bhi itna pareshan hone ke bawjud itna calmly behave kar rahi hun to tum kyu nahi…

A: kyunki riddhima tum kuch samajh nahi rahi ho, kuch bhi nahi.. tumne shayad kuch bhi aage ke consequences nahi soche hai…

R: aage kuch bhi ho armaan we'll face it… we'll tackle..

A: (stood up) dekha maine kaha tha na ki tum kuch nahi samajhti, we can't tackle riddhima, pata nahi kyu tum aage ki problems ko nahi dekh paa rahi ho.. tum kuch bhi nahi samajhti, jitna aasan sab kehna hota hai utna aasan usse karna nahi…we'll face it, tackle it, kehne se sab kuch theek nahi ho jayega, tumne future mai jhank kar dekha hai ki kya problems hone waali hai…

R: armaan agar problems hoti hai to unke solution bhi to hote hai…

A: par iss problem ka koi solution nahi hai, tumhe abhi sab kuch aasan lag raha hai kyunki tum kuch bhi samajhne ki koshish nahi kar rahi ho…

R: armaan mai samajh rahi hun..

A: (almost shouts) tum kuch nahi samajh rahi riddhima…. Agar samajhti to jis cheej ka darr mujhe lag raha hai ussi ke liye tum bhi darti…. Pareshan hoti ki aage kya hoga… par pareshan to tum tab hogi jab kuch samajh aayega tumhe… pata nahi kyu jaise mai dekh raha hun tum nahi dekh rahi…anyways leave it… tumhe samjhane se koi fayda nahi…(he moved out from F.E, riddhima settled on step, tears start falling from her eyes, armaan goes in parking, placed his head on the door of car very much depressed…)
