sherjhil and hatim

i have a question regarding hatim's past. does hatim find out that he is he lost prince of askar or did sherjhil tell him anything? is sherjhil even alive?

thanks for answering question. although what i wanted to know is if he knows about askaar and his parents? i saw the episode where his parents tell him about him not being their real son but i was confused whether sherjhil or in any other way did he ever find out that zargaam killed his parents and destroyed his city.
