What happened in today's episode? Who got eliminated? If Jeeva quit who is Aishwarya going to dance with and did Prajin and Chandra get eliminated as well?

Guys,this episode continues next week too as there were lots of controversies and as usual vijaytv had to blow it up.Jeeva elminiated himself and the other elimination wd be told next week only.

Detailed updates.

Suahsini and unni.DAnced for marangothiye fromah aah.DAnced well and was appreciated by all teh judges.Suhasini as usual was given more accolades but unni was also appreciated.they did well.Got a 8 fromsangee and master.SJS was silent judge and gave 7.SJS was asked to dance and pleaded by dd and so he came n danced.he did it well.

madurai jodi.dont remember the song.it was ok performance accto judges.Sangee did not want to comment as it neither that great nor tht bad.master was ok with gaya but not hussain who said tht he did not have tme to practice.Sangee appreciated gaya and saidtht hussainshd take pity on gaya n do better next time.Sangee 4 ,master 5.

Charmi and rishi.Danced for marudhamari kodunthu vaasam.Was appreciated by every1 of them.Rishi was appreciatd more for his efforts and sangee said their chemistry which was lacking all the while was overflowing this time.They got 8 from all the judges.Charmi was cute.

Pachai and Hema.Danced for a kuthu folk song.Hema was good with her dance and expressions .Pachai was out of sync and loosr with his hands and did nothave conrol over his steps.Thts wat judges commented.Sangee 5 ,master and SJS 4

Then comes the controversies...
Prajin and chandra.sanced for usilampatti..But guys,Prajin def did nt dance at all.He was standing theremost of the time or walking ard.Chandra was dancing and all the other dancers were also dancing and he was just standing or moving ard.There was no dance.Prajin said he did not have time to practice and had come at 10 in the morning.SJS said tht it was enough time to practice.Allthe judges were disappointed with Prajin's performance and appreciated Chandra but then as a jodi dance,it was bad.sangee 2 master 4.SJs..will come bk finally.

Jeeva and aishwarya.Danced for vethalaiya pottendi.Aishwarya danced well and her expressions were good and appreciated by all the judges.Jeeva'sperformance was not confident and he hadmissed steps and was looking at aish and doing it.When SJS started commenting,Aish told everything.She broke down and told that she was practicing and tht jeeva came and changed the song .Shealways listens towat he says as 1 of them have to compromise.(Actually this happened when SJs asked aish as to y they always select song with only male voice and only rajini song.)Aish started crying n told everything and told jeeva was responsible for it.SJs asked as to y jeeva had to do this and shd have tried tht song.Jeeva sais tht now he looked like a villain to every1(sirichinde).Finally sjs said tht they will give chace to aish to select a jodi and show her talent.jeeva can also select his jodi and dance.Sundarammaster said tht they cant force jeeva if he is not interested.Sangee said tht jeeva shd dance again adn tht they willgive him a chance.They let jeeva decide.Aish was okwith dancing with another person.They gave jeeva time and he said he wasnt interested.SAngee was disappointed andasked him to reconsider.There was a big drama and then jeeva said no.They showed Aish crying with all girls ard her.Jeeva with all guys laughing.SJs said tht he knew there was a prob with jeeva and aish but did not open it and allowed them to dance.he was talking konjam too much.finally decision was done.jeeva waseliminated andSJS continued with his scores.

Thencomes the next controversy: When coming to Prajin and chandra ,he jsut gave 0.Every1 was surprisde.Deepak was asking is tht it..they were waiting for him to give the score.SjS said thts all.Then tht episode was over and said wd be coninued next friday.
In the prmoso,they showed Prajin talking and chandraasking if he can just give 1 and everything..

I feel SJS shd have given atleast for Chandra's performance.He cd have given a 2 atleast for Chandra..

On the whole,Vijay TV has achieved wat it wants.more controversies,more viewership..am sure their TRP wd have been high for this 1...

is it jeeva only know how to imitate rajini's movements thus he asked for rajini song? to think they even won bp earlier so such a contrast is hard to digest. well im glad aish can get another jodi and maybe do it better. (ayyapan also had a last min change in his jodi to suhasini right? although it was way before they started)

prajin was not a natural dancer thus definitely he needs more time to practice. i pity these people, admist all these dancing competetions, they still have to go for shooting dramas.

I think Vijay Jodi no. 1 is straying away from the main concept, that is dance. Thus far, Jodi No. 1 season one was the best, with no nonsence! But now a days, such controversies have become very common especially in Vijay jodi.

Moreover, I feel that many of the contestants are not taking this seriously mainly due to their commitments toward work. As such, Vijay should have strictly informed them of how much effort they'll need to put in prior to asking them to be part of Jodi (after all, much practice is needed for a non - dancer)!

Lastly, it's best to quit if you're not able to commit rather than to continue on and struggle with. I 'm glad Jeeva decided to quit (though i'm not going to comment on the prelude to this event). I also feel that Prajin - Chandra should quit, mainly because their schedule isn't going to allow them to concentrate on dance!

We'll have to wait and see what happens next week....though I wish there were no arguments 😕

hi all,i just saw a promo of jodi No 1.it shows aishwarya's pair showing his back & in SJ Surya's Voice.But i'm damn sure,it is Jeeva.Check It Guyz.Let me know if anyone else noticed it.

Subject: Jodi#1 Season #3.

Prajin and Chandra danced to the judges and Vijay TV audience and were awarded the score of a duck. Actor Surya had the displeasure of announcing the score to Chandra's utter dismay.

A team player can never humiliate oneself the way Prajin did and he shamelessly accepted the award. On the other hand, Chandra argued hard to obtain "some" score, but the judges firmly discounted them on all the categories. Chandra got a lot of praise for her effort, and Prajin's performance was completely rejected. So much so, that Prajin and Chandra got a duck, a first and hopefully last in competition history.

It was a unanimous decision on the part of the judges. Poor Surya had to word very hard to justify his score. He was supported by Sangeeta and their thinking was quite clear and explanations effective.

Each of the contestents were asked to opine. Every one of them said it will just make them try harder. None of them disagreed that the pair did not deserve a duck.

It is hard to imagine that someone never tried, and was so hopeless.

As a very strong disliker of Prajin it gave me immense hapiness to see him publicly destroyed. "Hate" is a strong word for Prajin lovers, and one must try their best to never use it. a review I read this morning pertained to Suntv's performance in screening shows. The reader pleaded that only family drama's must be screened and all these infidelities and divorces are not good for Tamil audiences.

I agree with the reader and proclaim that Prajin's contribution to the entertainment industy has no value. Ethically, morally or otherwise. He does not represent Tamil culture at all. Prajin is a big zero. Surya, Sangeetha and the dance master judge said it correctly.

All his performances can be flushed down the toilet.

I just watched the continuation of the freestyle - controversial episode. Man, Vijay TV def. knows how to get people's attention.

In the promos, they portrayed Prajin and Chandra causing trouble. But after all, the two handled the situation well; Prajin agreed with gettng a zero for his performance and had asked SJ surya to move on with the remainder of the scores; Chandra tried to convince SJ Surya that she (along with the group) had performed well, and hence 0 is a little extreme. Chandra also had asked SJS regarding giving marks to Badava gopi for his efforts. But SJ Surya used himself as an example (failure in movies), as well as a vehicle example to defend the mark. At the end, Chandra gave up. SJS just applauded her for her performance. Thank God...it didn't turn out to be a disaster....

Elimination - Prajin and Chandra

They further went on to ask other jodies regarding Prajin and Chandra recieving a 0. I was a little suprised by their answers (but that's how i felt); Most them seem to agree with the decision, but still felt pity/ and shocked by the mark itself. When asked how they'd feel if the recieved that mark, some of them were like, I wouldn't feel bad but I'd def. practice harder for next round. Another suggested that he'd feel a little upset, but wouldn't shout. Lastly, one of them pretty much defended the 0, so as to be a factor for practing harder for the next round. I just feel that most are being carefull with their words as not to offend the judges.

With regards to Aish's new pair, I heard that it is the champ from Kalakka povathu yaar (who can immitate SJ Surya). forgot his name though.

Its sivakarthikeyan I guess form kalakapovathu yaaru right aisu. I knw it was wel handled and thts becas da participants didnt shout or created a scene lik prithvi did in season 2.

The episode of Jeeava elimination raises some concerns about SJ Suriya's attitude. Going through my recorded version and replayed few times I could see that it was premeditated attempt to elimiate Jeeva from the programme. My questions/observations are:

1) Should Judges care about what's going on between paris and details of disagreement? SJS is the Judge not the co-ordinator/director of the Jodi-1. The way he carried on as if he was directing the episode and prescribed how he wanted this pair to perform in future etc.,
2) Despite Sangeetha's intervention/disappointment of not breaking the Jodis Surya went on to suggest to go for different pair? Its easy to understand Sangeetha cannot overrule SJS for various reasons.

3) At the end of the programme Surya revealed that he knew about the pair's disagreement before the programme on the song selection therefore he wanted to give Justice to the Aish? Why personal interest in this case? Remember he advised Rish and Shramila to act as a team in the first episode when Sharmila was not happy with Rishi of finishing steps.

Poor Jeeva since he is the upcoming the entertainer he did not want to confront with SJS to keep the relationship going and happily opted out from the episode. In particular no tit-for-tat with Aish. Well done.

While both Jeeva and Aish to be blamed for this episode for different reasons but Aish may end-up as a looser. This is a perfect pair of the competition - one is good dancer and another person is a great entertainer and crowd puller. I feel they could have settled their differences outside of the camera and went on to win the title.

Well Sivakarthikeyan a known figure but not a match for Jeeva - it takes time for him to learn dance and match Aish energy etc., it's race against time and by the time when everything fall in place the elimination may have happened. Good luck Aish and SivaK.

i think sk is like another jeeva, both are not really skilled in dance but are entertainers in their own field (mimicry, comedian etc) thus the choice i suppose. im fine with it since it makes everyone happy and can continue with the practice and competitions.

i was just upset a little with regards to sjs giving 0 points to prajin & chandra pair. he could have at least given some points for their effort, costume or whatever but losing with o points is definitely an embarrasement. hope they get a chance back in the wild cards.
