But what we get from the show SuryaPutra Karna?

That Radha Maa hates child Karna.😕treated him badly.

Then, one fine day, Karna saved Radha maa & Radha maa started loving Karna.

what a selfish & crap picturization of Radha maa, the most important character of Karna's life.

According to me, one person loves Karna unconditionally, thats Radha Maa.

From here, I lost hope.

Then, the show progressed in a pathetic way.

For me, this show is a thumbs down.👎🏼

I am also in this Forums, coz of my Friends & beautiful FF.😃

Never planned to watch Star-Bharat.

As it was my belief that TV actors & Directors unable to do justice to MB.

Then, by chance saw Aham's entry episode as Karna.

& started watching Star-bharat.

I always bash Sid T, but I am also thankful to him that he casted Aham in the role of Karna & SRJ as Krishna.

Watching both of them was a visual treat.

I love their performances also.(Including Pooja Sharma)

The way Karna's Kavach appeared, I find that interesting.

Sri-Krishna's Viswaroop was awesome.

They presented infront me a Karna, who can give tough competition to any serial's Bahu in crying, Karna & Vrushali's famous proposal scene in Sarson ki khet was also brillaint. I love DDLJ, putting Karna in that scene one people need a lots of creative sense.😎

Then, Karna's death scene.Aham performance was 👍🏼

But Karna died in Kunti's lap???????😲

Kunti singing Lori to her abandoned Son, while he was dying.

It can definately fetch good TRP.but will not impress a Karna lover.

I love the book Palace Of Illusions, their apt descriptions of Karna.

I am myself confused that I like or hate Karna-Draupadi angle.

But Television Directors lack the creativity & talent to portray the sensitive issue.

the palace of ilusion is a fanfiction like this show. the karna draupadi angle, for me it's unthinkable.

I cannot even dream of K-D Angle. And what these people are showing is not Karna-draupadi Angle. That lady with brooms as hair is neither Draupadi nor is that guy screaming PAARRIVARTAAAN Karna. SidT Ke Putra aur Putravadhu Hai Yeh. Not a lover of Karna, but I admire him at places and Aham Sharma was amazing as Karna.

You are right Yagya. Pankhuri's look as Draupadi is the worst ever among those who portrayed her role. If you have time see once DD Kisan's Draupadi where Mittali Naag portrays Draupadi. The look is too decent and the performance is up to the mark. Pankhuri was good as Razia but not as Draupadi.

Her look is devastating! I would love to watch it, Lakshmi. Will try it soon. Pankhuri is a beautiful lady and can act really well but this look just diverts the attention fully and the buckets of glycerine. Ek Hi baar Teen Boonde Tapak Padhthe Hai!

Definitely, I agree with you both, Yagya and Lakshmi!

I can never look at Pankhuri and think she is Draupadi. That would never, ever happen.

The characters for this show are NOT AT ALL well researched. And really, this show looks like the culmination of bad fan-fiction.

I don't like how Chitra Bannerjee has portrayed the Karna-Draupadi angle in Palace of Illusions, but at least her understanding of individual characters is readable, and good too.

As you know, I am not a huge of Karna too, but yes, Aham's portrayal in StarBharat was something I liked. At least they managed to bring in creativity and tried to maintain the authenticity of the characters.

This is like insulting Vyas and the epic itself!

I can read, think & accept Mahabharat in different perspective.

May be I am too liberal minded.

I never think MB in a religious way.

If I leave the angle, I like Draupadi in POI.Its a nice FF & digestable also.

I cant even digest SuryaPutra Karna if I ate all Hajmola from the bottle.

It is not something related to being liberal minded or not, at least I believe. Vyasa clearly gives many examples to show that she loved Arjun the most and she also loved Pandavas with all her heart. Draupadi might have admired him at Swayamvar as Dharmakshetra but she was born to marry Arjun and she was born with love for him.

Mahabharat is not a religious book, it is a way of life, it is something which has everything required for someone to lead a good life. And Bhagvad Gita is a management guru.
