Lakshmi Rai joins Thaandavam
She's the third heroine of the flick
The latest addition to the cast of Thaandavam is Lakshmi Rai. The actress will begin shooting for her portions in London from the second week of May.
Talking from the UK, where he's shooting for the film now, Vijay says, "Yes, Lakshmi will be playing an important role, and her character is pivotal to the film. We'll begin shooting her portions soon."
Lakshmi, who's visibly excited to be working with the team, says, "I'd signed the film a while ago, and I will be leaving for the UK by next month. I can say my role will be the surprise element in the film."
Quiz her if she's paired with Vikram, and the Mankatha girl says, "All I can say is that I'll always be seen with him in the film. It's too early to reveal anything more. All the three heroines have a great deal to do in Thaandavam." Lakshmi joins Amy Jackson and Anushka Shetty who are the other heroines in this film that marks the return of the Vijay-Vikram combination. While the London schedule of the film will continue till mid June, the music of this action entertainer will be launched in July.
