A MUST READ FOR ALL MEMBERS TODAY

Tonight we are going to have the much awaited finale. We all know that even though all three of them very deserving candidates, but only one of them can actually walk away with the #1 position while the other two become runners up. Please remember it is the vote of majority- that means votes from you and me and us all is the actual decider on who get the #1 tag.

Historically, after every finals the section has experienced pandemonium and very unruly behavior. So this time the Dev Team has decided to take few preventive measures beforehand so that we know the ground rules and are all are on the same page to avoid such a repeat performance. Members are being warned that if they don't comply by these rules they may even face BAN. Please pay close attention to the following set of rules:

1. NO topic taking pot shot at any contestant will be allowed to be opened.

2. NO attacks or potshots at fans of other contestants will be entertained. You have something against another member, be it personal or show related, you will simply settle it between yourselves but outside of IF SRGMP section. Sort it out by PM and if you need assistance please contact us, we will help, but no dirty linen washing in public or mudslinging in the threads shall be allowed. Let us also remind you all here that if any of you receive any PM that is abusive, threatening or profane, instead of replying please forward that PM to us. We will take the necessary action. You keep the option to block the member, if you so desire.

3. Please DO NOT create new ID's or use multiple ID's, to simply come here to make a statement or bash someone. Please be reminded that at India Forums, IP addresses are logged and we can very easily identify such multiple ID cases and the end result can only be Ban. So desist from trying out such means.

4. Regionalism, racism, India Pakistan relation, betrayal issues, ethnic bias, shall NOT be brought up. Anyone found even remotely indicating such racial thoughts shall be seriously dealt with.

5. The DT Team will make two stickies – one for the winner- for the congratulatory messages and celebrations and one for the runners up . Those who genuinely wish to congratulate the winner or want to join in the celebrations will go to the celebration thread. The rest you are welcome to support your favorites who became the runners up and keep to the Runners up thread. Please remember, NO ONE,I repeat, neither shall the winner's supporter go and sneer at the runner's up fans or call them names or speak derogatorily nor will any of the runners up supporters go to the winner sticky simply to badmouth the winner or the supporters or anyone associated with the show.

6. Please weigh your words well before you post it. Do not use any expression that may be derogatory, abusive, sarcastically condescending or insulting to the one it is directed at. Please exhibit self restraint on your freedom of speech and only post what cannot hurt one.

7. NO profanity or slang usage will be allowed. If you are frustrated, angry, dejected – cool down first, take a deep breath, count to 10, assemble your thoughts and write rationally. Do not resort to name calling or slang usage here at the section.

8. Please do not open a topic for every single thought that strikes your mind. Take a look at the first two pages and see if a topic on the same subject is already posted or not. If posted already, then please go and join in there and express your self. Any such redundant threads shall be immediately trashed and no reasons provided.

9. No topic attacking a mentor, channel house, members, participants, IF Dev Team or anyone shall be allowed here. NO talk on any other forum or its members shall be encouraged either.

10. The DEV TEAM has as much right as members to join in the celebrations or offer support to their personal favorites. NO ONE shall attack the DEV team or question its neutrality if they find them celebrating/not celebrating.

11. NO posts questioning the action or authority of the Dev Team shall be opened. You have any issues feel free to PM us and talk to us.

If you find threads/posts that are offensive, or if you find anyone breaking the above mentioned rules, please don't jump in to defend, retaliate or teach a lesson in such threads. Those doing so will also face serious action along with the thread poster.

It is our sincere request – please use the "REPORT" button and report such threads or posts. You can also copy the post and the page link and send it to us. We will take the necessary corrective actions. At times we may, by ourselves miss out on some such posts and not take immediate action, but with you telling us about it, we can act on them faster.

Let's celebrate the show and give it the fitting closure it so deserves. We want to provide you a congenial environment. Please help us do so by cooperating and keeping the section clean.
