Thanks to each and everyone of you for making this story so read and talked about!!

This is the 6th Topic for this tale!😳

I would have ended it in 10 parts

Now its at 95 parts and counting...

The original idea came from Saaz 👏👏👏

This story was initially based on a real life account of a couple we both knew

It has slowly evolved into a tale of a successful, educated, young urban couple.

Both from vastly differing backgrounds, different cultures, languages and hugely different socio economic situations.

She is the only child of a lower middle class Gujarati couple, a topper, educated in Delhi a brilliant architect, once widowed, now consulting for a construction company in South Mumbai.

He is the youngest of two boys, a Punjabi, Construction Design Engineer educated in one of the top colleges in US, works as a Director overseeing the upscale home building project she is consulting for. His Dad is a successful commodities trader, Mom a South Mumbai socialite.

Both are strong, opinionated, and egotistical.

She is elegant, poised, quiet and shy

He is stylish, outspoken, articulate and aggressive

He will teach her to "live"

She will teach him to "feel"

Its a good barter!

It chronicles the journey they undertake in order to fulfill a "arranged marriage" plan made by the seniors.

The maid comes knocking in a few. Aada and B ai have locked the door while letting themselves out, so the maid wonders where everyone disappeared

Khanak opens it in a daze after a few knocks, she wants some dabba that Ritwik's Mom gave poha in (a week ago to Ritu, the day she was leaving for Ahmedabad). Khanak can't find it so she lets the maid find it herself. "Ive been gone a week and I cant even recognize the layout of the kitchen" Khanak smiles to herself.

"I have no idea where my things are, Ritwik's Mom's dabba?"

Wonders whats taking Aada so long.Decides to call him, Aada says they are also getting some fruit baskets etc. Khanak argues as much as she can, but her Aada is not willing to relent. She hangs up and stands in front of the mirror in the living room.

Her face is flushed, her finger tips are cold, she had found herself another scuncie since her husband had messed up her hair so much. She tied it high on her head again, twisted the knob on the fan's regulator as many ways possible but the blades mocked her and stayed away from each other, did not blend!

Her husband was inside talking on the phone, leaning on the window ...where she had left him...

Her lip gloss was all gone, her hand now smelled like his cologne trying to fight his advances, her face did too she was sure.

Fully clothed, he had shown her a preview of paradise.

She wrapped her arms around herself and held tight, leaning against the window

Breathed out slowly... Shut her eyes and savored the feeling of being wanted again.
