You, Me And Cooking!
Abhay was busy preparing the lunch in the kitchen when he felt a pair of hands glide through his chest, back hugging him. A small smile crept up on his face and he pulled those hands towards his lips, lightly pecking each of them before placing them back above his heart.
Piya pressed her face more into his back, almost nuzzling it as her hold on him tightened.
Abhay: Bada pyaar aa raha hai… kya baat hai?
Piya: Kyu? Bina wajah pyaar nahi aa sakta?
Abhay: Main toh bas yun hi pooch raha tha.
She moved a little back and gazed at the items kept on the kitchen counter.
Piya: Waise tum kya bana rahe ho?
Abhay: Pasta my love.
The glint of excitement in her eyes after hearing the word pasta didn't go unnoticed by Abhay and he stared at her in horror.
Abhay: No! I know what you're thinking but I'm not letting you do anything of that sort.
Piya: Par maine toh kuch bola hi nahi hai, pehle sunn toh lo.
Abhay: I know tum kya bolne wali ho. So no and that's final.
Piya: Abhay please!
She fluttered her eyelashes trying to make a puppy face.
Abhay: That's not gonna work on me.
Piya: Just once please. I promise koi gadbad nahi karungi.
Abhay: Tum gadbad nahi karogi? Piya tumhe pata hai na tum jaha khadi ho jaati ho waha gadbad apne aap hi ho jaati hai.
Piya: Tum toh aise bol rahe ho jaise maine gadbad karne ka koi world record bana rakha ho.
Abhay: Yaad dilau?
Piya: Kya yaad dilaoge tum?
Abhay: Pehli baar jab tumne pasta banaya tha, it wasn't worth eating aur toh aur tumne jale hue bartan mujhse dhulwaye the.
Piya: But I didn't know how to cook at that time.
Abhay: And now you know?
Piya: Haan ab toh main expert ho gayi hoon.
Abhay: Piya stop kidding. Last sunday tumne cake bake kiya tha jo ki kisi murder weapon se kam nahi tha.
Piya: Tum ek hafte pehle ki baat kyu kar rahe ho…
Abhay: Then recent mudde pe aate hai. Kal tumne mujhe jala hua toast diya tha breakfast me.
Piya: Main thodi si busy thi.
Abhay: Instagram pe memes dekhne ko busy hona nahi kehte.
By now Piya was annoyed and was glaring at Abhay.
Piya: Tum mujhe pasta banane doge ya nahi?
Abhay: Nahi.
Piya huffed in anger and turned around to leave when she felt him pull her holding her waist. She started banging her fists on his chest.
Piya: Abhay, leave me!
Her protests fell on deaf ears as he picked up a garlic bread from aside and stuffed her mouth with it, calming her down.
Piya took her own sweet time to munch on the garlic bread and Abhay kept looking at her.
Piya: Hmmm, yum! Par ye trick har baar kaam nahi karega.
She said moving out of the kitchen towards the living room.
Abhay: Anything is fine as long as you don't cook.
Piya: Abhay!
He grinned saying that, and a cushion landed on his face which Piya threw at him from the couch nearby.
