Part 3. Chandrakanta As The New Ruler Of Naugarh
CK left her parent's room after talking with them for some time. She was walking to V's room when a daasi handed her a letter saying that its from Surendra Singh. CK reads the letter and finds it positive. She decides to read it again with V while she tells him his truth. She goes to V's room with the letter. V is surprised on seeing her in his room.
"Rajkumari, aap yaha? asked V.
"Main to yahi hu, replied CK, "Tumhe kuch bataana tha par pehle main ye patra padhungi.
She sat next to V on the bed and opens the letter.
"This is Maharaj Surendra Singh's letter, said CK.
"I hope he has not written any bad thing in it. We can't trust Naugarh people, said V.
"1st lets read the letter, said CK.
CK opens the letter and adjusts it in a way that he too can read it. She starts reading it.
Rajkumari Chandrakanta,
It took me some courage to write this letter to you because I did not knew if I will be able to do this after what all happened. I am very unhappy with whatever happened to you, rajkumari. I wrote this letter to tell you that I agree to hand over my kingdom to you. I and Jai Aditya will come to meet you tomorrow morning and talk more about this. I was worried for you. I thought that Shiv Dutt will win but glad that you turned the table on him along with your father and aiyyars. I will not tell you to forgive Shiv Dutt because he don't deserve any forgiveness. You can have my kingdom if it fades away the bad memories you had due to Shiv Dutt. I wish you are always successful like this and wish you all the happiness in the world.

"I don't know if he really mean what he wrote or its his some trick, said CK.
"As I said we can't trust Naugarh people, said V.
"You are also of Naugarh, Virendra, thinks CK.
She decides to play more with him before telling the truth.
"Its strange that your father did not even sent a letter for you. I am sure that he knows you are here. After all, you brought maa here from his captivity. I can't believe you had no idea of maa being captive in the same all these years, said CK and V's face colour changes which she saw.
"Why will he care for me when he is not my father? blurted out V, "He has kidnapped me when I was born and exchanged me with his own son. He only wanted me for getting tilism key.
V was shocked at what he blurted out.
"I think I asked too much, said CK.
"No its fine. What to hide from you? When my so-called father's kidnapping of your mother is out then you should know other things too which I myself came to know 2 days ago. He kidnapped me from some other royal family which I don't know, said V.
"But why he will kidnap you only out of all the babies in the world? asked CK.
"That's what I am trying to figure out. Why me? replied V.
"Because you're the real claimant of tilism, Virendra, thinks CK.
"If there is some secret regarding this then it will come out one day. As for your family, may be maa knows something or even if she don't know then she can try to find out using her powers. And if that's also not possible then we will find some way, said CK.
"Thanks for understanding me, said V.
"Why will I not understand you? I myself had a step-mother who never got to mistreat me but from last few weeks started showing her true colours. She tried to kill my father and pressurize me into agreeing to Shiv Dutt's demands. Kroor Singh who looked after me from childhood like I was his kid was supporting my step-mother and has some evil motives against us. So I know how its feels to be betrayed by someone who acted like our parents, said CK.
V recalls what he saw KS doing today.
"How should I tell you Chandrakanta that what Kroor Singh wants? thinks V.
"What are you thinking? asked CK.
"Nothing, replied V.
"We will talk this later. First help me in replying to Maharaj Surendra Singh, said CK, "I think he is not really bad. He tried a lot to help me. He never hurt me in any way.
CK was purposely talking good about him to bring positive opinion of him to V.
"He may never have hurt you but being a king of such a big kingdom he could not do anything to help you. He let Shiv Dutt sent a marriage proposal to you knowing his habit of drinking and sleeping with girls. He may have thought that he will stop this after his marriage is fixed but what's the guarantee that it would have happened. If he had paid attention to Shiv Dutt while growing up then we would not have seen this day. I can't forgot the days when you were living in tension that Shiv Dutt will win and make you his daasi. Maharaj Surendra was against this but somewhere he is also at fault. And Jai Aditya, he never took any stand in those days. Its good that you have won the war against Naugarh. I am very happy for you, said V.
"How will I tell him his truth if he has such negative opinions about his own family, thinks CK.
"What are you thinking? asked V.
"Nothing, replied CK.
She then took out a paper and pen from the table and starts writing reply to the letter.
V took the pen from her hand and said, "I will write the reply.
"Okay, said CK wondering what he will write.
V started reading the reply as he wrote it🥱.
Maharaj Surendra Singh,
Its very wise of you to agree to my demand otherwise you would have regretted, Maharaj. You don't have any idea what I went through in those days when your scoundrel son wanted to make me his daasi and now after marriage wanted me to make Nagar Vadhu of Naugarh. I hope you know the meaning of Nagar Vadhu. Your son planning to make a woman a public property in the worst way shows what kind of men your kingdom must be having. You and Jai Aditya are welcome to come tomorrow. I advise you not to bring your large army otherwise what will happen to your son and Tej Singh will not be my fault. I will never forgive Shiv Dutt because you said right that he don't deserve any forgiveness.

CK was astonished at the reply he wrote.
"I can't believe you wrote better reply than me. I did not understand what to write, said CK.
"I figured it out so I helped you. You were about to say something, said V.
"Virendra is already hurt on knowing how Marich is not his father and he has used him. If I tell him that which family he belongs to then he will be more hurt as he has negative opinions about them for which I can't blame him. No. This is not the right time to tell him the truth that he is the real prince of Naugarh. I have to wait for appropriate time for this, thinks CK.
"What are you thinking? asked V, "You are lost somewhere.
"I forgot what I wanted to tell you. That's what I was trying to recall, lied CK.
"No problem. You tell me when you remember, said V.
"You really would have killed me that day? asked CK.
"I know you are hurt by my action. That's one more reason I wanted you to kill me. I was acting like that so that Marich don't hurt you and your family, replied V.
"I had this doubt. Good that its cleared. I have done similar thing to save you from Kamini announcing your punishment by ordering to put you in prison myself, said CK.
"Now you have to prepare to be the next ruler of Naugarh, smiled V.
"For now, I have to go and rest, smiled back CK and left the room with the letters.
"You are trying to be normal with me which I can see but I want to correct what went wrong. I wish everything becomes like it was before between us, said V sadly.
CK went to her parents room. She told them everything happened in V's room. They felt bad for V. CK then called a daasi and told her to send the letter to Surendra.
"I could not tell him the truth because it would hurt him more, said CK.
"You did right, beta, said RG.
"But its wrong to hide such a big thing from him, said JS.
"As I said, I will tell him at appropriate time. Our plan was to tell Maharaj Surendra Singh after he came here that our asking the kingdom from him was to make him realize that how it feels when someone threatens to ruin our family and kingdom. But now, I will actually take the kingdom of Naugarh. And then after sometime, I will handover it to Virendra, said CK.
"You have thought such a thing, beta, said JS with a smile.
"I too like your idea, beta, said RG with a smile.
CK smiled back at them before leaving for her room.
V comes to Devgiri's room where he was talking with Champa and Chapla.
"Rajkumar, you here, said Devgiri.
"I have come to tell something important to you all about rajkumari. I told maharaj and maharani about it. They told me to confide this with 3 of you, said V.
"What is it that you want to tell us about rajkumari? asked Chapla, "You look worried.
V tells them what he saw KS doing in a room, him hearing KS talking about CK on his 1st day in this palace with him hitting KS from behind and his talks with CK's parents about this. Champa, Chapla and Devgiri were shocked as well as angry hearing this.
"We can't hide this from rajkumariji such an important thing, said Chapla.
"We will tell her but after some time. She is already very tired and needs some rest, said V.
"He is right. She is happy now so we can't stress her at this time, said Devgiri.
"No wonder why he hates Virendra so much. He would have felt jealous seeing him always with rajkumari when they were working together against Shiv Dutt, said Champa.
"Uss tharki buddhe ko sabak sikhaana padega, said Chapla in anger.
"We will tell rajkumari tomorrow or after 1-2 more days, said V.
"We have to keep rajkumari away from Kroor Singh as far as possible, said Champa.
"Yes, said Chapla.
CK slept till the dinner. She had her food and took V to a room. She took him to the corner of them room and rotated a small round handle hidden behind a small painting. As she turned around the handle, a secret sliding door opened in the wall beside the handle.
"This is a secret place which my dadaji had got made. I have not shown you this earlier. The other exit is at a spot in the garden. Come inside, I will show you, said CK.
She took V inside and shut the door by turning a similar handle there. It was a large secret place. There was also a small water passage. There was 2 pythons in that shocking V.
"Don't worry, they will do nothing, said CK.
"You are scared of cockroaches but not such a big python, said V.
"Who said I am scared of cockroaches? asked CK, "That day I was just acting to see what you all do to get the key from my waist. Itne bade hokar kaun cockroach se darta hai?
"I have seen and heard that many girls no matter what their age is starts freaking out at the sight of cockroaches so I decided to use it on you to get the key from your waist, said V.
"But you could not get it and till now thought that I am scared of cockroaches, said CK.
"Nice acting you did, smiled V.
"Main tumhe uss insaan se milvaane ke liye yaha laayi hu jo tumhe upar pahuchaane ka plan karke aaya tha, said CK and showed him the yellow special power ring of Tej Singh.
"Tej Singh? asked V identifying the ring.
"Haan, replied CK.
She took him further and entered inside a door with him.
"This is magic protected area. Yaha kisi ki jadoo aur aiyyari kaam nahi karti hai, said CK.
She took him a little further from where they could see Tej tied with LED ropes but Tej could not see them. CK told V to hide behind a wall and come when she signals him. CK went near Tej.
"Look Tej Singh, I came again to meet you, smiled CK, "I am sure Champa, Chapla and Devgiri have told you what all happened today. So much happened but you missed it all.
"Congratulations rajkumari for your win, smiled TS.
"Its because of the rule of not killing an aiyyar, you are alive and you know that, said CK.
"Its better to die than work for a man like Shiv Dutt, said TS smiling sarcastically.
"Do you think that I will come in your talks? You came that day in Marich's form. You said that the enmity between Vijaygarh and Naugarh happened due to Virendra as if Virendra told Shiv Dutt to trouble me and my family. Do you really think we all believe you? No. You have not done right in bringing Shiv Dutt's marriage proposal for me. Because of you, a man who always stood by me and helped me against that bas***d Shiv Dutt was given a death sentence. You did wrong in bringing Shiv Dutt's marriage proposal for me, said CK.
Tej felt guilty that V died due to him. He had told CK earlier that he did it because SD forced him to do so threatening him that he will harm king and queen if he don't do that.
"I earlier told you why I did that. And I also told you that I did not thought that Virendra will be given a death sentence. I thought that he will only be jailed for some time, said CK.
"Sorry Tej Singh, you tried hard but you failed. Hum sab kaatil nahi hai jo kisi ki bhi jaan lenge vo bhi aise insaan jisne hum sabki madad ki thi, said CK and signalled V to come.
She went behind the wall where V when V came. Tej Singh was shocked to see him alive.
"Why are you shocked, Tej Singh? Aren't you happy to see me alive? asked V with a smile.
"I can't believe you are alive. I am happy that you are alive. I was feeling so guilty thinking that you are dead. I did not want you to get killed but it happened due to my act, said TS.
"I can forgive you for putting my danger but I could not forgive you bringing Shiv Dutt's alliance for Chandrakanta knowing very well what all happened. You tried to ruin a woman's life along with Shiv Dutt. Tumhe aiyyaron ka aiyyar' kaha jaata hai aur itni neech harkat ki tumne. Its good that Chandrakanta has imprisoned you here, said V in a serious tone.
TS realized by his words and looking at him that he truly loved CK.
"I would not have let this marriage happen. I would have helped rajkumari, said V.
"You are lying because you are just Shiv Dutt's puppet, said V.
TS understood that V will not believe him. CK came there.
"Tonight is your last day here. From tomorrow, you will have a new boss that is me. You will work for me not for Shiv Dutt as I will become the next ruler of Naugarh, smiled CK, "Chinta mat karo, main tumhe apne dost (laughs)ya fir zabasdati ke dost jaise rakhungi. Tumhe kutte ki tarah nahi rakhungi jaisa Shiv Dutt rakhta tha. Aur tumse koi galat kaam bhi nahi karvaaungi.
TS was happy on hearing that now he will work for a nice person like CK. If its true then he will always be by her side and protect her. CK left from there with V.
Scene shifts to Surendra getting CK's reply which is written by V unknown to him.
"Rajkumari Chandrakanta is really very upset with us for which I can't blame her, said Surendra.
"Don't know how she will treat us after getting our kingdom, said JA.
"What she will do we have accept it, said Surendra.
"I will talk to her and convince her not to hurt you and chachiji, said JA.
"Her rely shows how much hurt she is, said Surendra sadly.
Next morning, CK dressed up in her red dress which she wore for on the 1st day of her taking the charge of Vijaygarh. Surendra and JA visits Vijaygarh. JS and CK were sitting next to each other while RG was inside as she is not well. JS and CK greets them.
"I am seeing you for the 1st time, Chandrakanta. You are so beautiful, said Surendra.
"Unfortunately, you will have to see her often, said Devgiri.
Surendra realized why he is here for.
"I am handing over my kingdom to you, rajkumari Chandrakanta. You are Naugarh's new ruler now. As you said, I have not brought my large army with me, said Surendra.
"I have to accept it for Virendra, reminded CK herself in mind.
"I hope you have not hidden your army in a big horse statue like Trojan Horse, said CK.
"What are you saying, rajkumari? asked JA shockingly.
"I was joking. I will go and give this good news to Shiv Dutt that his own father gave us his kingdom. Usne tumhaare chachiji ka taktha palat kiya aur maine uska aur tumhaare chachaji ka. I am sure you and your chachaji will have a good time with me, smiled CK.
"We know what Shiv Dutt did was not wrong but what was my and chachaji's fault? Aap aur aapke pitaji bhi kam nahi hai. Aap dono ne ek nirdosh aadmi Virendra ko maar daala. Aapne uss aadmi ko maar diya jisne aapka humesha saath diya. Kaatil hai aap, said JA furiously.
"Rajkumar Jai Aditya, you can't insult maharaj and rajumkari like this, came a voice.
JA and Surendra were shocked to see V entering the hall from inside. They felt happy on seeing him alive. They were happy that someone was there to protect CK from SD and was sad when they thought that he died. Now they are happy to see him alive.
"Rajkumar Jai Aditya, you are alive, said JA.
"Yes, I am alive. Maharaj and rajkumari did not got me killed and what they did with me it was my fault. I have played with rajkumari and people's feelings. But it was your dear brother Shiv Dutt and Tej Singh who planned so much to get me killed, said V.
JS, CK and her 3 aiyyars are dazed at V supporting them. Devgiri signals him to have a seat.
"How come you are here again? asked Surendra shockingly.
"He brought my maa back who was alive. He rescued her from his own father's captivity. Maa wants him to live here for some days so he is here, replied CK.
"Maharani Ratnagarbha is alive, said Surendra shockingly.
"By God's grace, said JS.
"Its good that Virendra is alive, said JA.
"Hum log jaan bachaate jaan lete nahi hai, said CK.
"Acchha? To jo aapne maharani Kamini aur rajkumar Mayuk ke saath kiya vo kya tha? asked JA sarcastically.
"Mujhe laga hi tha ki koi mujhse yahi poochhega, replied CK as she smiled.
"Meri beti ne jo kiya vo maine usse kaha tha karne ko. Usne jo kiya vo sabki jaan bachaane ke liye kiya. You both have no idea what those mother-son did with us, said JS.
"Pitaji, lets not talk about this. Devgiri, bring Tej Singh here, said CK.
Devgiri nodded and left.
"I am releasing Tej Singh but don't even hope for other 3, said CK.
"Do what you want to do with them. What they did was very horrible, said Surendra.
"I am sure you both are not planning to hurt her before releasing them, said V.
"You are thinking us wrong, said Surendra.
"By the way, you too had hurt Vijaygarh people and betrayed them, said JA.
"What I did was wrong which I don't deny but I have never even saw rajkumari and any other women in a wrong way let alone hurting her the way your brother did. I was raised by a man like Marich all these years but still I have never hurt a woman but your brother is raised by a great man like Surendra Singh but he can't get sleep till he sleeps with at least 4 girls. He was planning to make rajkumari like them. He later made even worse plan that is to make rajkumari..., V said but stopped from saying that word when he saw a couple of tears in CK's eyes.
"I can't even say it but hope you both understood what I was about to say, said V.
Surendra and JA understood that V stopped midway on seeing CK's tears as they were sitting before her. They felt ashamed of themselves for unable to stop SD and realized how much CK is hurt.
"My father taught me bad things but you are a great man na then why you did not gave good upbringing to your dear son? And Jai Aditya, would you have been quiet if your sister was harassed by someone like Shiv Dutt harassed rajkumari? asked V.
CK wonders how she tells V his truth if he hates SD's fake family and his real family like this.
"Pitaji, do something. Virendra can't insult his own family like this especially when they are not bad, whispers CK worriedly to JS who was equally worried.
Just then, Devgiri arrived with Tej Singh. Tej Singh was not in chains. CK and JS sighed that the topic will be changed. V looked at CK when she turned her eyes to Tej Singh. JA noticed the way he was looking at CK and wondered if he has some feelings for her.
"Here is Tej Singh. From now, I have to tolerate him as my 4th aiyyar, joked CK, "Champa, Chapla, Devgiri, meet your new friend Tej Singh. You 3 also have to tolerate him.
CK and her 3 aiyyars shared a smile as they looked at TS. TS did not said anything.
"You both can meet Shiv Dutt, Jhumroo and Avtaar Singh but don't try to act smart, said JS.
Surendra and JA nodded. Surendra, JA and TS were taken to meet the 3 prisoners.
"I am also coming, said CK and went with them.
V went after her. In the corridor, V held her hand.
"I wish everything can be like before between us, Chandrakanta, said V.
"No Virendra, it can never be the same like before between us. We are talking normally and helping each other does not means I feel the same for you especially when you had nothing for me in the first place. I don't blame you for that because it was your wish. Ab sab kuch badal chuka hai. My feelings for you have changed. It was just an infatuation which is common for people to have for someone. I don't want to hope for something only to get hurt again. I don't want to make a fool of myself again. It was hard for me to be normal after all the times we spent together so don't make it difficult for me to move on. I have no hatred for you but we can't be like before. I wish you get all the happiness in the world, said CK emotionally pulling out her hand and leaving from there.
"But my happiness is with you also, Chandrakanta, said V sadly.
V sadly sees her leave. JA sees this shockingly with Tej Singh. They stopped in between while going to the prison on seeing V holding CK's hand.
"Tej Singh, look what you have done. You have done wrong in separating them, said JA.
TS look guiltily at V who was sadly looking at CK leaving.
Next- Part 4. Chandrakanta Saves Virendra From Kroor Singh's Deathly Attack
Precap: #CK sees a chandelier falling on V. She takes a high jump(like in the show) and saves V while falling on top of him on the floor. They stare at each other for some time. Surendra, JA and TS who were nearby are shocked to see them like this as they were lost into each other.
#JS tells CK that she has to go to Naugarh for at least some days as a new ruler. V tells that someone should go with her as he can't trust Naugarh people. CK suggests V only to come with her. Devgiri assures V that they will take care of Kroor Singh. V agrees to go.
"Thanks for agreeing, Virendra. In this way, I can save you from Kroor Singh as well as bring you more near your real family before telling you the truth, thinks CK in her mind.
"Its good you will not have to see Kroor Singh for some days, thinks V in mind.
#On reaching Naugarh, CK is told to live in SD's room being the previous heir's room.
"Yaha main nahi Virendra rahega. Mujhe yaha Shiv Dutt ki yaad aayegi. Virendra ka kya? Vo to kahi bhi kisi bhi kamre me reh lega, said CK as she wanted the real heir only in this room.
Everyone wonders why she is telling to live in that room only.
