Born on a farm in Ambala, Meher Maan was the youngest daughter of Balraaj and Teji Maan.
A happy-go-lucky girl with the cutest smile ever, she loved her parents, her sister Heer, and of course her mother's cooking.
Meher's early days on the farm were simple and care free. If you had asked her what she wanted she would have said that some day she'd like to remake her favorite movie DDLJ.
But deep down she dreamed of roaming the valleys of Switzerland, where she would run into Raj, who would sweep her off her feet and then come to Ambala and ask her parents for her hand in marriage.
Did her dreams ever come true?
Well...sort of. There was a slight location change though.
Oh...and his name wasn't Raj.
Preet was the youngest son of the great hotelier Lalit Juneja. Certainly not the most ambitious amongst his siblings, he preferred to pass his days in a carefree manner, leaving responsibilities for his older brothers to shoulder.
Ask him to describe himself in 3 words and he'd say...Smart, Sexy, and Handsome.

Ask his father and he'd complain of his laid back attitude, lack of commitment, and constant pranks. Ask his mother and she'd laugh and say just one word...Badmash.
But ask his brother Prem and he'd point out that Preet was fiercely loyal and protective of his family. Ask his Bhabi Heer and she'd say he had a heart of gold.
Sounds like 2 people made for each other...doesn't it?
But look what happened when they first met...
Whoa...talk about a first meeting.
I don't know about you, but the first time I saw Kis Desh,
I never imagined that these two would ever come together.
But it was their love and loyalty to their family that led them to become one.
It turned out to be the best decision they ever made.
And how their relationship grew from that first meeting...
