Absurd idea time: the guy is the right hand man of Rohit - who never died and has come back to seek revenge from richa.

Since Siddhi took the blame for his death, he wants her to defeat richa and imprison her. His guy was looking for siddhi for a month prob bcoz he just told her the name, not the address
