Example's of Chemical & Physical Changes

Observation

Example of Chemical Change

Example of Physical Change

Bubbles are produced.

Mixing baking soda and vinegar

Water boiling

There is a colour change.

Mixing potassium with lead nitrate.

-

The starting material is used up.

Mixing copper sulfate with distilled water.

Solubility

Heat is produced or absorbed.

-

-

A solid (precipitate) forms.

-

-



k, guys, I need examples, can anyone help me? I can't think of any..

The 4th one down (Heat is produced or absorbed)...the chemical change would just be endothermic or exothermic right (endo - absorb heat; exo- release heat) and the example of chemical change would be too see if the reaction vessel heats up or not..

k well for chemical a really common one is if you combine silver nitrate with sodium chloride

and for physical would freezing water into ice be good enough??😕
