Talking about places! Interests me very much! We have covered Cochin, Allepey, Kumarakom, Munnar in Kerala! Loved all of them! The house boat in Allepey and backwaters in Kumarakom! Every wedding anniversary of ours we make a trip to some place! Kodaikanal is good too but its too much commercialized and not much interesting anymore! Ooty is good for its weather o/w again nothing much! For that matter Munnar is still fresh and unexploited much! 😃

Chikamagalur and Coorg - They are good too! We had a trekking trip in Coorg and a homestay in chikamagalur! Homestays are wonderful out there! Do and Plan nothing! Just enjoy nature relax in the home, where u get pampered like anything with food and snacks served throughout the day! 😆 Just love it!

Dusshera holidays are up for my daughter! So still deciding on the place! May be Kerala again 😉 My daughter hasn't visited Kerala yet! House boat is what I'm thinking! 😃

Yes u r right! Such temples with crowd, I wudn't even remember what I had seen in those temples! Those ancient temples are really wonderful! They shud be visited on normal days when there is no crowd! But few temples are always crowded! Ex. Thirupathi - which I haven't visited at all for fear of the crowd!

O/w such temples are lovely to visit! Many Temples in TN! Utilized full advantage of staying in a hostel in a town surrounded by such towns 😉! Chidambaram kovil, Tanjavur Brahadeeswara temple, Madurai Meenakshi temple, Trichy Malaikottai, Pillayarpatti!

Yes, Sita Rameswaram, Dhanushkodi is wonderful too! I still remember the train trip when I was in school, on the Pamban bridge! So excited then! 😃
