No... because this is not how I visualized my favorite tv couple's wedding. There was more magic and grip in Payash wedding episodes than the current ones.

Yes...because logically I was and am not expecting much action in today and tomorrow's episode. There are are couple of reason

1)Show's major competitor are showing a grand Sagai of child bride with repentant ex-husband crashing it. Unless IPKKND wishes to use one of its trumpcard or major storyline mover, they cannot beat the plot there. It would be foolish to waste arhilicious episodes now. My guess is they will start using the Arhi romance Friday onwards.

2) By all accounts, they have changed the writer. I expect he needs some time to settle in and get into rhythm of things. On side note I am little apprehensive with the new writer since he seems to have written a lot of Ekta shows, I hope he is ready to try something new without rehashing usual ekta show fare (plastic surgery, multiple marraiges, every MU possible, evil saas...revenge) that follow murphy's law

3) We are at crossroads from storyline perspective and CVs seem to be at loss as to how to proceed. There are too many loops open and too many ways for story to progress. CVs have to decide if they want to solve Shyam issue first or the past issue first- they cannot handle both the issues at the same time. They have to decide who gets physically hurt by Shyam's current plan-Anjali, Khushi, Arnav, Payal, Garima or no one. Each character's injury will take the story a completely different route. They have to decide if they want to amp up the drama factor which might result in increase of trps or loss of thier loyal viewers. Should they stick with fast paced breezy romcom that defines the uniqueness of the show but is not making a dent in trps. They have to decide if they want the marraige to go through and meet viewer expectations or risk viewer's wrath by postponing it yet again. It is all about making tough choices. For thier sake and ours, I hope they make right choices. The point remains that the story will not move until they have made those choices.

So my musing for the day

1) I love Arnav's straight forward approach to everything. This guy really does not know to mince words. He wants to know what Dadi is up to and impresses upon her that Shyam is never going to enter HIS house. He assumes that she knows and believes that he is a cheat and is surprised at dadi's insistance at bringing him back in his sister's life. She knows the havoc cheating caused in thier lives 14 years back and yet she insists that Anjali be put in same situation. She says that she will not let someone's small mistake spoil her grand daughter's future. I am still at loss to understand what story could Shyam have fed Anjali and dadi that has them so convinced of his innocence. There were huge holes in his story and given the past they should have checked for facts just for assurance purposes. Did he impress upon them that Khushi was mistaken about his intentions and she has influenced Arnav too? Is that why they keep talking about Arnav's "galatphahmi" and dadi hates Khushi with a vengeance.I can understand everyone's hesitation to talk about his cheating and kidnapping fiasco in detail because it casts a shadow over Khushi's character and that will not be acceptable to Arnav but someone needs to undate dadi with truth. Anyways it is obvious that dadi only sees what she wants to see and refuses to budge. Nani's silence and effort to calm Arnav did not go very well with me in this scene. But she redeemed herself in next scene when she blessed her grandson and supported him.For some odd reason Nani seems to be avoiding confrontation with dadi and dadi seems to be avoiding asking truth from her. odd for friends or did Mami mean that sarcastically?

2)Garima is in a difficult place. Both her daughter's marital life is at stake, she can't hide, she can't run and she believes truth is too damning. Like Arnav she has tried to move ahead in life and almost forgotten the past since it was not worth remembering. She has built her life around her kind and sweet husband and two daughters. Dadi has brought back darkness into her life and she has no one to share her fears. Her husband is incapacitated and daughters are unaware of the truth. The only way out of this is to trust Arnav and Khushi and tell them the truth but will thier love be strong enough to stand the storm truth will unleash and does Garima trust Arnav enough to talk to him is yet to be seen.

3) I don't want to talk about Shyam and Anjali...It is very upsetting ...so what is Shyam's plan, the way I see it... He expects Anjali to walk bare feet into her room where the glass on mat will hurt Anjali's feet...she will try to walk down for help while holding the side rail where in the open wire will electrocute her and she will fall down the flight of stairs. The kid will be aborted and she will be inconsolable. He will have to be brought back for her sanity. Dadi will ensure that by making sure that Arnav feels guilty for it all. There are a lot of ifs and buts and maybes in the plan. Besides I think he is underestimating Arnav. This guy is crazy, to top it off he is still lusting after Khushi though that did not come as a surprise to me. I do hope for everyone's sake that it is not Anjali who is harmed unless they want her to get rid of baby bump.

I think I know what they are trying to do- they are trying to set up Anjali/Shyam as parallel leads or counterpoint to main leads but it is not working. I think Shyam and Anjali will not work for that purpose at this point in storyline. Anjali is not evoking any sympathy but comes across as brainless manipulative liar and Shyam is beyond redemption with all his antics. The viewer hate them..or should I say Anjali..honestly there are times when I fastforward through thier scenes. In entertainment business perceptions are just as important as truth. People have to like the characters but with the kind of craziness that IPKKND evokes, actor's off screen images tend to impact on screen likability. Like it or not Barun's off screen humble laid back family man image adds to his likability as Arnav. I have never come across a situation where there is so much negativity around a tv actor for something she might not be even part of. I am not sure how much role DB has actually played in changing storyline but fact remains that she continues to be blamed for it. This is not a good scenario ...neither for her career nor for the show as whole. I hope everyone knows that and takes step to rectify it.

4) When Arnav walks down for mehandi ceremony- I thought that was his way of rebeling against dadi and vent out. Loved it when Nani supported him. I sincerely hope dadi gets upset and decides to spend her evening in her room so that rmvasis and Garima can enjoy one ritual without being subject to her rules.

5)Everyone has already written about Arhi scenes so there is not much I can add there except to say it was sweet and magical.

Arnav has spent his life trying to be a different person than his dad. Something tells me that he will soon be put in a position where he will have to take a stand which will break his heart either way. Will he choose to be responsible husband who does right by his fiancee/wife and lets go of past or will he choose his past over his future? Will he be Arjun who will wage righteous battle against his family or will he bow down under pressure? More interestingly he punished Khushi when he thought she was out to betray his sister's trust and hurt her, will he be able to punish Anjali when he finds out that she has been betraying his trust and has provided Shyam opportunity to hurt Khushi?
