Ajay Bhalwankar the ex-programming head of Zee was responsible for brining in CB1 and Agle janam. He left in October 2009 and thats when the downfall in CB1 started. He is now back with Zee.

Ajay Bhalwankar moves back to Zee TV

MUMBAI: Zee TV has brought back its former programming head Ajay Bhalwankar from Sony Entertainment Television (Set).

Bhalwankar had quit Zee TV in October 2009 to join Set. Since then, Zee TV has been operating without a programming head. Zee TV also does not have a business head after the exit of Nitin Vaidya who performed as Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd COO - National Channels as well.

Bhalwankar confirmed to Indiantelevision.com that he has rejoined Zee TV.

Thnxx Misti 4 this important news...Hope he would again bring sum change...n hope this tym the change would be a positive one...for anything good a strict sincr leadership is needed...hope this tym he would fulfil the lackings!!!

Hope this is a good move on part of Zee---there is a ray of hope that he will bring back some stability to the channel and creativity to the shows...

And that he will support the actors and the writers and gives some long term direction, rather than playing a "yo-yo" with the story line to chase the TRP's...

And most importantly he will support AVINA and CB---Avinash and Rubina are being overlooked in awards and shows, and hope this will change soon...

Probably the much-awaited blessing in disguise. The poor souls Avinash and Rubina are getting such a raw deal---They were atleast seen performing in Umeed--- I dont think they will be seen on stage in the gold awards function.
