Yes,I'm a big Soumitrisha fan.I watched Kaalratri last year and honestly really enjoyed it. Soumitrisha Kundu was amazing in it especially for her first OTT role.

Savi constantly seeking comfort in Niel’s arms feels more like desperation than genuine emotional connection. In Bepannaah, Aditya and Zoya were going through similar phase in their lives. After Yash’s financial collapse, Zoya was put into a challenging situation, having to rebuild both her professional and personal life. Despite Aditya being the source of many of her setbacks initially, he repeatedly emerged as her saviour each time she hit rock bottom. What made their dynamic compelling was the emotional boundaries they maintained. There was never forced intimacy. The bond between Adi and Zoya developed gradually, with maturity and depth, only evolving into romance once they had truly let go of their pasts.

Ganja hitting new low with each forced hugs and liplocks between gunda doctor and abla IPS.

They’ve completely made a mockery of second-chance romance. Trust me, I’m the last person to judge anyone for moving on — and I definitely don’t believe grief should have a set timeline. People should be allowed to heal and love again on their own terms. But this? This is just lazy writing that outright insults the intelligence of the viewers.

Aren’t these characters supposed to be coming out of deep emotional trauma? You’d never know it from how they’re acting. There’s no hesitation, no emotional weight — just a rushed connection with zero buildup. Where’s the growth, the space to grieve, or the time to develop any real emotional bond? Instead, everything’s on fast-forward like they’re trying to wrap up a checklist.

When Savi moved on after Ishaan’s death, they at least had the decency to show that years had passed. But now? It’s been what — weeks? And she’s already hugging a man she barely knows? It doesn't feel organic. She either comes off as desperate or worse, as someone who just can’t function without a man in her life — which is the worst possible portrayal for a character who’s supposed to be ‘strong and independent.’ It’s honestly pathetic.
